The post 15 grind is maybe 20 minutes a week.
I’ve only recently gotten the cloak on characters with a 450 ilvl. I had been doing bgs all along on these characters. I wasn’t getting 1 shot. Probably not having the cloak wasn’t his only problem.
In any case, I think there’s something fundamentally wrong when casuals can’t do casual content, which randoms are supposed to be.
Only if you want to min max or have some sort of power progression. Otherwise nah
This is true. It’s only worth it if you’re, um, doing current content. I find it not necessary at all for camping Voidtalon in Draenor .
It actually corruption BEFORE you reduce it.
Imagine posting the video if it exists.
All my cloaks are level 1 so I have the currency to remove corruption on items. I don’t do any raiding, Mythics, PvP or other cooperative or competitive end game activities so an ilvl rating in the upper 440’s is great for rolling over anything I want to do.
Given I’m not a great player, the “challenge” of getting the cloak to higher levels simply has no pay off for what I do. That said, if raiding or other group activities are part of your end game, then yes, getting to level 5, 12 and, eventually 15 is a good thing to do.
Damn im bad then.
I just searched for a YouTube video dawg
LOL sorry didn’t mean to make it like I was taking a dig at you
Not really. You STILL need 4 pages from rank 8 onwards. You can get one page from each zone tho, unlike previously when you had to do lost areas but for many classes and/or undergeared alts without more traits it’s still not easy to clear all four zones in one run.
Sort of?
We’re getting close to pre-patch for expansion, all will be obsolete,
Still try to level it…wouldn’t hurt a fly
Without the cape I believe you won’t last long with corrupted gear. There won’t be any resistance to the negative effects of corrupted gear.
Well we probably have another 4+ months of BFA before Shadowlands comes out.
At this point I would say no. I got mine to about 59 resistance and gave up. The expansion will be over soon and I refuse grinding annoying world quests and doing those poorly designed horrific visions.
This is how I kinda feel.
The corruption vendor should have been here at the beginning of 8.3, because topping charts because of getting lucky with corruption was absurd. (Blizzard even admitted that the acquisition method of Legion legendaries was bad, yet they made the exact same mistake.)
The cloak catchup should have been introduced more earlier too.
Blizzard tends introduce these things right before it gets obsolete.
Same with Legion legendaries vendor.
One reason I could find to still level your cloak and get some good corruption is if you want smooth/fast TW dungeon runs. (stacks of TD tier3 with high cloak resist)
When guilds were going at mythic raid bosses the first couple of weeks their resistance can’t have been too high, right? I mean if they could do it so can anyone if they set their mind to it.
Same here. I have 5 toons at 120. Only 1 cloak is rank 5. Now when I log onto any one of them, I look at the screen for a minute, then log off and play an alt.
I have 2 priests I leveled up just before they removed alts’ ability to buy essences without the cloak. They’re kind of low ilvl. Even if I got the cloak on them they’d be spending all their echoes for most of the rest of the expansion on essences.
This was never meant to catch anybody up. I look at them and go play old content.
