Is it possible to farm enough hydraxian rep to clear mc first week?

There are guilds with this goal. And what you forget is that you can do a good 2-3 days before you need to sleep first. Also we will need lvl 20 warlocks at the hydraxis quest giver for summons. I can’t wait to be apart of it.

Two locks, one out by the Duke and one at the instance. Each with 2 other people. Each summoning back-and-forth.

You need to finish the quest chain to acquire the one use essence which requires honoured (?) to unlock the entire chain.

With clever warlock summons you can complete the final 2 parts and summon on the same reset.

It’s definitely doable.

Didn’t consider this. Was just thinking of mages (well at least alliance) porting to darn and then flying to TR. Unsure of how horde and if that backgate is open in vanilla. But since solution to the whole thing is to have low level locks be at two points then that cuts down on things and logistics even more so.

Not really.

The hardest part will be the honored aspect.

Like the earlier poster said - start grinding rep at lvl 55, lol.

This was the part that I was curious about.
I recall that the Silithus rep mobs gave 5 rep each which means that it would take 1200 kills to go from 0 Neutral to Honored. Of course that’s assuming that there isn’t a couple of quests available during that phase. It’s still a lot of grinding either way especially if there’s competition and I even wonder if the mobs would spawn fast enough.

My mortal strike button already hurts.

why would you use fire resist for anything other than rag?.. and that’s only assuming you don’t get the fire buff from BRS first.

Why do people get so hung up on the Hydraxian rep as the roadblock? This is literally the easiest thing to take care of if you’re pushing for an early MC clear. Like you could go to Silithus anytime after level 55 and grind a level or two and be honored.

Even easier, take a raid group of level 55+ and aoe the hell out of elementals and be done in two hours.

The rep has nothing to do with the logisitics of clearing MC week one it’s having enough people high enough level to fill the raid.

Idiocy at its finest.

Yes. Rag will definitely die on the first week.

No, rag will not die in the first week, the earliest hes probably going to die is end of second week imo

Its possible. But that would require a perfect levelling of 40 people, then a day and a half of trash kills and resets, followed by killing all the bosses pre-Rags, then going to Hydraxian Waterlords and completing all their quests by at least 10 people, then coming back to douse the flames and kill Rags. Possible, yes. Likely, not at all.

Yeah, I agree. The math doesn’t suggest it would be that difficult (to douse the runes) imo.

Im already 60 and exalted.

Dont worry about it.

Yes, remember silthus mobs give you 5 rep per kill for quite a bit, and you only need honored if i recall. plus there’s a few pre quest that offer 250 Exp each, then you can just grind trash mobs inside of MC not counting the + rep from the bosses themselves. Will people do it probably not. Is it possible most likely.

I don’t know why why people get so hung up on people wondering whether or not it’s possible to farm hydraxian waterlords rep.

Dickwadism at it’s finest.

As long as Blizzard doesn’t “Layer” too hard that people don’t have real competition for kills there won’t be a week 1 MC clear i believe. Don’t take Northdale as a example of what will happen.

Because you need the rep to unlock these platforms next to each boss to spawn Rag(I think I dont remember). If you run MC you will see them, I believe they are still there.
