I’m really struggling to not be completely useless in PVP as a Blood DK.
I’m sitting at 622 PVP ilvl and I feel far more squishy than my frost mage.
Am I missing something or is this spec just not meant to PVP?
This is specifically for BGs where tuning is impacted. Open World is totally fine.

I sometimes spin flags vs 4-5 players depending on the comp.
Blood is probably the best spec in the game for holding a point and being a total nuisance, but you have to manage your death strikes very carefully and know when to pop tombstone shields, IBF, and lichborne.
Mages will ruin your day for sure, though.
blood is in an all around rough spot with the double whammy of the nerf to tank healing in general, and the massive nerf to DS so it only heals from given dmg intake once.
its just awful to play atm and feels extraordinarily squishy.
Tank - PvP. There’s your issue.
Tanks have it rough in PvP.
It takes exceptional skill to not be deadweight.

I mean… typically… tanks are kind of useless in PvP. Outside of a guardian or vengeance running the flag historically anyway

Node spinning is pretty damn useful, but the issue lies with blood dk being a sluggish FC if you get the wrong map.
That being said, a good presevoker can pull you across the map. The bad part lies with having a team that can’t kill efc with 9 stacks.
