Is It Griefing (and ban-able) when

That is what the Devs call PVP nowadays.

This is important to remember if someone harasses you via whisper, if you’re planning on reporting them.

no its wpvp you chose to turn on.

No.
Zone disruption is when a lot pf players do things to deliberately cause extreme lag or latency.

I somehow doubt that you actually tried waiting a couple hours.

And it isn’t Blizzard’s problem that you misunderstood what you were signing on for. If you wanted something fair, then you should have gone to the Battlegrounds. World PvP is inherently unfair. And if you didn’t expect to get camped and griefed, then you’re either hopelessly naive, or lying to yourself.

You could also go to groupfinder and join a random group or ask for an invite from someone off server and it would phase switch you to a different layer. Rez and hearth?

You should have 10-15 secs of immunity after a spirit healer rez to allow you to Hearth. If you are willing to eat the rez sickness, you should get a free pass to hearth home.

I mean I enjoy a nice brawl, been in Nazj and we have 40 alliance vs 40 horde between that road between Mez and New Home and we push eachother into the bases and out. Thats WPvP that is fun and I enjoy.

Being camped for 2 hours by an entire guild and harassment isn’t.

The point is not being able to turn it off because your being camped and cant rez at the spirit healer without being killed again.

Would be nice since it comes with durability loss.

you can walk to a different gy, they cannot camp you indefinitely

That has always been what world PVP was. Anyone who told you different was lying, either to you or to themselves.

I’d stay and gather more reports for Blizzard if I were the OP. I wouldn’t leave and jump shards just because players want to log over and harass them. I’d sit there for hours gathering reports.

If this happened to me I would

  1. Find a group to join which would swap my shard avoiding the campers, and yes you can do this when dead
  2. If that wasn’t an option, run as far as I can from the graveyard and res and if I get killed there, keep repeating the process until I’m to far for them too care about

Of course I would have never, ever, rez at a graveyard. That’s just stupid and asking for this.

Been around long enough to know that is not what pvp use to be.

It’s not a guarantee that the person checking the reports would actually care, but people are still punished for breaking the chat rules. That means at least some cases are handled properly by moderators.

So you rez literally inside the inn, and turn off WM as soon as you rez (have the talent sheet open).

You don’t get immunity from being killed you don’t give honor if they kill you

No.

Yes, but they won’t do :poop: about it.

Sadly they don’t care about getting honor they care about griefing others. Would love to have Dishonorable kills back in some for. Say if you kill in WM 5+ players who are 11 levels or lower below you, you get a stacking debuff reducing your damage and health for 10 mins.

your choice to turn it on in the first place.

If you can get anywhere with an ocean, corpse walk yourself to somewhere well underwater (as long as it isn’t Vash’jir). Unless there’s a warlock in the group, there’s a limit to how long they can stay underwater unless they’re willing to pop potions for it.
