But yeah in all seriousness medieval fantasy has ever been a part of the Warcraft universe, but not the whole. It doesn’t line up with any particular era of human history because it isn’t human history lol. There’s magic, friends. We have Knights and Castles but also spaceships and cannons and cool flying boats. Not to mention mechanical devices that turn dinosaurs into fully sentient beings or make boars really big. One little insignificant spelling mistake aside, Drahliana is absolutely right. The Warcraft universe hasn’t been monolithic medieval fantasy since Warcraft 2
I prefer mage portals as a mode of travel. It’s faster and Dranei ships seem to crash a lot.
We had trains, robots, airplanes, machinery and engines since vanilla, how was WoW ever Medieval?
