Is feign death still bugged?

Because random server outages were not purposely implemented game mechanics in vanilla.

Actually, it is. They were changed in vanilla to only go so far because people were pulling them to major cities.

It’s not artificial lag, buddy. You don’t understand what leeway even is.

It’s lag compensation, and you notice it more easily because you aren’t lagging.

If you don’t like it, don’t play Classic, because that’s how vanilla was.

I know exactly what it is. It’s a big part of online fighting games. It’s to hide bad internet.

Regardless of how you feel about it, it was in vanilla, and it was recreated for that reason. If you dislike it so much that you won’t play Classic, then you don’t like vanilla.

It’s adding extra frames to make everything seem laggy so nobody notices the highs and lows of the network.

I knew the “if you don’t like this BS then get out” speech was coming. If you hate retail so much why are you playing Classic using the retail client?

That might be how it is in fighting games, but that’s not what leeway is in Classic/vanilla.

Please go read up on what leeway actually is.

The hunters I have fought on my rogue have no trouble using FD + Ice Trap on me so you guys that can’t do it are just bad. :rofl:

Not everyone has been having the issue.

Trap just takes too long to come out post fd. Not how a lot of us remember it. Against normal players you can probably still fd trap them. An above average player will be cautiously saving an instant ability for when they see fd cast and will get you back in combat before you can trap.

That scenario can be countered by maybe scattering then fd trapping but it costs all your cc, lots of mana to pull off.

I still haven’t created a macro for fd shadowmeld drinking but I’m sure that will have issues as well. That’s more of a bg need though so for now all is good. Still hoping they improve fd and what you do after it.

It’s not asking for it to be changed, but to better mimic how it was in vanilla.

Sounds like a realistic representation of how feign death should work. No one, not even animals, will always fall for a feign death trick.

Seems like hunters aren’t the tricksters they thought they were. Leave the trickery for us rogues.
