If everything is special then nothing is special.
They aren’t making it any more powerful, they are just making it passive. Enhancement has to babysit that WFT and Totemic has another totem to babysit so they are getting WFT passive so they still only need to babysit one totem. I would much prefer it be moved to the class tree and made a buff all shamans can use.

We’ll be one of the last to receive updates, be broken on alpha/beta until a week or two before release, and then receive a heavy nerf… as is tradition.
But in all seriousness, the lack of communication is really taking a toll. None of us expect to have a lot of communication, but we have received zero feedback. It feels fair to say we won’t receive updates until they’re done playing with mages.
I’ve played shaman since cata and only recently started posting on the forms because I wish for some sort of communication/update from developers.
Reminds me when legion was over it took a whole patch in BFA for blizz to remember “RIGHT we forgot to patch shaman not having the artifact anymore”
All three specs where still tuned for having an artifact.
Dude imagine if Shaman could get the kind of attention that Demo is getting… wow

I mean, maybe Ret paladin. They got a massive rework in DF and also more work done in the alpha including polish work for minor annoyances to the spec.
So hunters got dev communication…what have we gotten other than copy pasta?
Warlock, Mage, or Monk… looking at the work being done, I’d recommend Warlock.
Ret’s kind of boring. I did it for Season 3 when ele got garbage tier. It’s just kind of wack-a-mole.

From what ive seen in the alpha forum, there is a “class design team”
Im guessing they are so busy with the other classes that they seemingly neglect shaman, why?
I have no clue. Just tell us something…anything,
Or ignore us and see what happens, i have an evoker and fire mage im more than happy to play and i will shelf this shaman and never look back.
I love my shaman i just want to see elemental improved and shown that blizzard cares about us.
The more I think about Stormbringer the more disappointed I am in it. It’s supposed to be a lightning caster, but with 0 changes to the spec tree it’s just going to play like Season 2 elemental. With the possible change of using Earth Shock instead of Elemental Blast for more Unlimited Power.
The only lightning spell we’ll be casting is Lightning Bolt in ST and we’ll be casting it about the same number of times as we cast Lava Burst and Earth Shock. The hero spec is not at all living up to the fantasy it’s trying to sell to us.
