If I stack furious gaze traits, haste procs, haste essences, and haste trinkets and then have the enhance shaman give me blood lust when I use rain from above. That gives me some insane burst, I’m dropping like 4 fel lances per second. Do you think that makes the comp viable?
nah
enhance will die pretty much first kidney/stormbolt/strang against any real team
- no mortal strike means you have awful pressure outside of that gimmick that is easily avoidable by half aware players
follow your apple dunking dreams
But it’s every minute and what if I stun them before I jump up so they can’t run away?
i mean define ‘viable’
like yeah you can prob noobstomp 1600 teams
any rogue mage will auto win second dr on the enhance
any cleave will just kill the enhance
anyone aware will just kick your eye beam to prevent you from getting the haste, or would just grounding totem / ams / netherward when you go up in the air
or just play on the corner of the pillar
your stun is 3 seconds i dont even think the animation for rain from above finishes before their out of the stun
you could just do that same thing with a warrior and put on 2 tank trinkets and win because you both do 20k dps single target
why is the enhance important?
Because of the lust during rain from above with all the other haste buffs makes me get some crazy burst windows every minute.
ah
yeah demon hunter is one of the best specs in the game and dh/dk/rsham and dh/arms/rdruid are the 2 best comps in the game rn
so this kinda easily counter gimmick thing really worth
like i said you’ll stomp a few noobs but it wouldn’t hold up against semi okay players
it’s way too easy to kill enhancement shamans and it’s way too easy to deny your haste buff via kick/purge or LoS on rain from above
too easily countered by grounding/ams/netherward/spellreflect also
rule of thumb, if it doesn’t have a mortal strike it’s prob not good
some dk comps being the exception occasionally
