a mini game that takes your gold and makes you wait week after week to even unlock everything.
I think Iâve spent 1 million on enchants/consumables so farâŚ
(And only started enchanting 580+ stuff.)
It was worth it for me, but while I see and appreciate what they are trying to do with the work order system - it feels like something that has potential and feels like itâs a good idea - in its current state itâs just an annoyance.
The whole situation in which you have to sit in a main city for hours spamming in a chat that has hundreds of other people that have no option but to do the same and thus moves at the speed of light hoping that someone will whisper you so you can then engage in the absolutely hateful dance of trying to ask what you think your product is worth while they try to save/scum/etc and vise versa and then you walk out with some 10-20k gold. Hooray. Back to spamming in the light speed chat.
I genuinely believe they have something there with the work order idea, but as itâs currently implemented⌠itâs just a pain. Iâm also not a huge fan of the current environment when it comes to acuity and knowledge.
Donât have to spam trade at all. You just do if you want to make gear.
The work order and crafting for gold is a big aspect of what crafting is currently. And that was my thought on it, on a thread that asked about crafting. Your second sentence already justifies my post, so it seems that showing up to say âwell⌠you donât haaaave toâ doesnât accomplish a whole lot, but you do you.
Crafting for gold doesnât require spam.
I donât like spamming trade, so I set my profs up to not require me to do so.
Still making gold. Just not gear.
Work orders are Blizzardâs attempt to force socialization which if youâre just after gold, is optional.
if you follow a minmaxxed guide to not be wasteful I imagine its worth it.
Eh, TBC says hello.
If following an external source of information is needed to not âF upâ an ingame profession, there is something wrong with the system.
yeah probably, but I was just answering the OPâs question.
I hear you
No, it just creates different levels of profit.
And if everyone followed âthe guideâ profit = 0.
no, thereâd still be profit, it just wouldnât be as ridiculous. Just stop already.
More rewarding for whom is the issue. If you want a tiny percentage of players to reap so much gold that they have to sell it on a third party site, while absolutely nobody else uses that content, then youâve developed content that next to nobody uses. It does not keep anyone engaged but that tiny percentage who are selling the gold they make for real money.
Do you know the term cancelscanning?
Thatâs basically down to zero. lol.
no. Iâm not a psycho AH loony.
I use an addon to automaatically set a price for when I post something. Thats all I use.
With work orders you dont need to have professions to get these. Thats my point.
If youre not shooting for workd first and youre buying 3* level enchants youre doing it wrong. Youre doing it dumb, in fact.
What am I going to do with 5 gold caps? lol.
I have to yet remember the time I wanted to craft anything on retail.
The AH prices for crafting arent really returning players friendly prices so I donât think I will engage with the system except for maybe gathering things at most.
