Speaking as someone who played WoW from the original beta through most of BFA, I’ll say it does indeed suck on a pvp server if you’re a slow/solo/ casual player. There’s exponentially more sweaty tryhards today than there was back then, and they’re already bored of the raids and dungeons. The gankfest is real and worldwide, every flight master, dungeon entrance, graveyard, and choke point. That’s the game now and a lot of people love it.

If you did not see this coming you’re blind. It’s up to you to change your situation, not Blizzard or other players. Cut your losses and roll on a pve server, or join a big guild that likes world PvP.

I wouldn’t say they’re tanking it on purpose, because that would be absolutely stupid on their part. I do think they’re not giving it anything close to their full effort though. Not surprising, considering they haven’t been giving retail their full effort either. LOL

I’m having a blast raiding players in wpvp .We out number Alliance 30/60 and I think alot will be transferring due to horde domination .

Huge battles happening at the moment tho . No zone is safe .

I find it very playable, PVP happens on PVP servers.

I love how I’m on a full pvp server but can’t transfer to a lower population pve server

I just came back after over a year off due to the release of classic.

Classic PVP is really fun, but it’s a group activity like most things in Classic. Maybe you should form a group and do some PVP and will have a lot more fun.

If they’re going to try to force people to play retail because developers got their feelings hurt I say good riddance.

This part makes no sense; almost none of my friends play modern wow any more because it’s not really world of warcraft any more.

It’s funny all the people claiming to be around and engaged back in classic/vanilla but don’t recall all these situations we all faced 15 years ago. THIS IS HOW IT WAS for a period of time. Participate in world pvp bg’s gain massive honor while you can. If you’re solo’ing trying to pvp, then your doing something wrong. You can easily gain 1-5k hks per day in world pvp bg’s right now depending on how many hours you put into it.

I do recall being underdog on a server and crying in my pillow at night with my mum saying it’s ok it’s just a game after getting ganked repeatedly by the evil horde.

They released new servers and I rerolled on one.

Why didn’t you start on a PvE Server? Why did you roll on a Gankfest Server? If in the end, your heart is set on PvE?

Not really. PvE Servers are doing just fine. See, it’s not all about just Gankfest Servers.

There’s a PvE and RP lifestyle. It’s not always about ganking…I mean “PvP”
