They fixed pets and whatnot not scaling with gear / weapons. It scales now. BM is viable in 8/8 mythic raiding and high keys. They’re just a bit harder to get to high keys than other classes.
There are fights you’ll shine on. There are fights you won’t. It’s always been like this. About to be 8/8M and I have 1727 io score. What isn’t viable about that? I haven’t felt like I’m being carried in my raids or mythic plus. Is it easier on other classes? Sure! Do I love my hunter? Yes! That’s why I play my hunter.
