There really isn’t… guulds that is. There is a reason why they remove hall of fame from the alliance. They don’t want people getting it in shadow lands.

I’m part of a Guild and regularly do Timewalking and Transmog runs and help levellers doing Legion dungeons so yes I am participating in the group community.
When Shadowlands hits this character will probably go max level and do some raids with the guild as long as the beta isn’t a trashfire like BfA.

The Hall of Fame is irrelevant to what I am saying.
I am saying the guilds are there. Because the over all population is there.
I am saying the people there aren’t participating (this is where the Hall of Fame comes in).
Not in the 120 community that you are complaining about.
A guild without a set purpose is no different from a mobile trade chat.
What does that have to do with anything? I’m playing the game, I do Timewalking which has mostly 120’s in it. I’ll be going max level next expansion. I participate in Dungeons when people are levelling to 120.

The racials are a lot closer now but the damage has been done. The appearance and desirability of the allied races is heavily in horde favor right now though.
So once again. They need to give incentive to the population already there to participate.
When you complain about the level 120 balance, and the imbalance in the 120 raid game, while not participating in the community of things you are complaining about…

Any dev that doesn’t understand that with dimenishing returns on subscribers in a MMO, it will effect content people can/want to participate that requires raid/groups.
When you keep splitting the user base for some fabricated game faction nonsense you punish which ever side has lower interest in player choice. You want player choice Bliz, you said it in the con. However, you keep pushing the divide but offering no solution to the fact some players refuse/don’t want to play the other side.
EQ had story to go along with races hating each other. Heck they were kill on sight for those lands controlled by thise races but EVERYONE could group together for all content. You are going to eventually realize this imaginary line bs will kill game interest if you don’t wisen up.

Yes, they want people to faction change, so much so they gave Mechagnomes the most ridiculously overpowered racials ever put in the game.
I’m afraid there’s not much use in listening to someone who doesn’t practice what they preach. I’m sorry you don’t feel like not being a hypocrite but, ima continue to enjoy playing Alliance.

Maybe when the Alliance playerbase is 20% then Blizzard will do something. I see no point in playing an NPC faction sorry.
As long as they’re still getting that sweet faction transfer money, they will do nothing to address the shrinking competitive Alliance population. I’m sure that once the money dries up they will give the Alliance overpowered racials and start the process all over again.
I just don’t see Activision allowing Blizzard to enable cross-faction grouping because that would essentially stop players from feeling the need to pay for faction transfers. Remember, Activision is the same company that charged players $2 to add a dot to their screen in Black Ops 4.

It’s a tough issue to fix. You can’t just snap your fingers and fix years upon years of neglect the devs have had for the Alliance. The faction is growing increasingly bland as time goes on and the devs have made it clear they enjoy writing for the Horde much more than the Alliance.
Racials are the other big factor that determine things, but flipping it so the Alliance gets the better racials and pushes a lot of the big name guilds/players to faction change isn’t really a good answer either. It’s a bandaid solution at best.
I wish I had a good answer but I don’t. As long as Blizz keeps pushing the Horde as the cool faction and their main attraction, the Alliance’s numbers will only continue to dwindle until it becomes a major issue. Might take years for it to hit that point but make no mistake, the Alliance numbers are slowly dropping and will continue to do so unless Blizzard does something to make the faction relevant.
Well, take a look at this then:
In the Hall of Fame the 100th raid completed was September 5th. The Alliance got their 100th raid complete October 15th. If the players on both sides are equal as per realmpop, then why did it take Alliance nearly 6 weeks longer to finish their Hall of Fame? This is per Blizz, by the by.
I do expect the numbers to change after Vulpera go live…I’ve spoken to some of my Alliance online friends and several of them have said that they want to roll Vulpera. No one Horde friend has even mentioned Mechagnomes. While there might be Horde players who want to play Mechagnomes, none of my casual friends are interested. Heck, I’m not interested…while I like some of their abilities, I can’t get past the diaper look.
At any rate, we won’t know until they go live, but I suspect they’re going to overtake Velfs as the most popular allied race. Looking at the two allied races…cute fluffy Vulpera and diaper wearing Mechagnomes, there really isn’t any doubt as to which race casuals are going to flock to.
