Is blizzard doing it AGAIN to themselves?

Pardon my lack of clarity, I do not have and may never have a priest’s perspective. It remains bis for Druids and paladins.

As do the insightful hood and gordok’s Offhand… at least until exalted with AV factions.

It’s not about challenge. It’s about overall time spent in being prepared to finish MC. And no, just getting to 60 shouldn’t be enough.

Yes blizzard should obviously plan their releases around you and only you.

Come on, they’re harder than that. Look at Gehennas. Sometimes, I have to help decurse a couple people. You have no idea how hard that is while I tunnel my leet deepz.

Onyxia and Molten Core were never hard.

Alright then, look up the salamander scale pants (T1).

unless you value 6 int more than 3 mp5, 9 +healing, and +14 stamina ( PvP reasons mostly)… padre’s trouser is still not BIS.

or the empowered legging in T2, which even have some very valuable spell crit for paladins.

still not BIS.

Anyone with a brain knows you’re wrong. Anyone with a brain knows this was absolutely not the case in vanilla.

meanwhile , in reality, DM open up maybe 3 piece for people, like priest getting the DM trinket instead of farming jed in UBRS… that’s it.

the rest still comes from brs-brd-strat-scholo.

So I think there is a combination of factors. First, yes you’re right the 1.12 was the final patch were by every class had significant changes to both mechanics and talent trees. Also, in the first year or so if not more of the game (I can’t remember when) there was no such thing as gear that had attack or spell power. This change was huge.

So one could argue that by virtue of the gear becoming more powerful it “nerfed” the instanced content.

I do remember back in 2004 to 2006 that they tweaked and retweaked the dungeons as they released new content.

haha you serious? A lot more people are 60 than the 1%

In same ways i wish 5 mans were still relevant. Not that mythic+ zerg fest speed runs. But brutally hard 5 mans (new ones preferably) that stay relevent somehow. Maybe some good epics off the final boss like bc style.

Mythic+ was a good idea in theory. But remove the timer and make it based on completion, but make em hard

You do know Dire Maul releasing in a week isn’t gonna change anything right?

This. Just because your slow leveling is no reason to content starve the rest of us.

It’s not about Dire Mail, it’s the fact that they are releasing content almost 2 months early to cater to zergers crying about not having anything to do. If it took these players 6 weeks to get bored of 1-60, leveling dungeons, endgame dungeons, 2 raids, professions, all the rep grinds, etc…how long until they are bored of 3 new dungeons?

In 2 weeks we will be in the same spot, these people will be crying about having nothing to do and asking for more content to be released early.

Absolutely agreed.

This is absolutely spot on with the issue.

Yeah I think the game is weaker than it used to been. I do remember a period in WoW Classic 2004 when the content got easier after a few patches. Elite mobs in certain quests turned into normal mobs, people could not pull 2 different enemy groups in a dungeon and still survive.

Easy and people were aweful? Umm, maybe try guildies did not want to go into dungeons because they want farm or the dungeon was too long. If you were not the right class like a healer or tank, mage, rouge, shaman combo you did not get to go. Having to spam finding a group was at times, painful.

In raids having to learn the dance to avoid mobs or AoE that took practice like all of the raids did. Now people know Oxy and MC like the back of their hand. 15 years later, it is ridiculously easy.
