One thing the majority agrees with is how much better BFA Incursions are than Legion Invasions. Which they are, just throwing it out for the OP Incase you liked Invasions.
I’ll toss this out there. Some classes, my keybinds are open due to losing the artifact abilities as well as a couple other abilities just removed. Others play mostly the same, however, we are missing all those cool passive parts from the artifact weapons. Example, enhance shaman- I use to see all this crazy visual pieces of earth lift from the ground and hurl at my target. Charged with lightning or molten fire, The doomhammer was a badass weapon. Or the ret paladin divine storm traveling forward 20 yards. The fire mage flame orbs giving a visual to how many phoenix flames you had left.
So maybe its not just the active abilities, but the passives that were super fun. Many of these passives gave the classes flavor that was a lot of fun at least to me they were. So now a lot of the specs feel like husks even though some of them didn’t lose many abilities. I just wish they had left some of the passives in even if it didn’t do any extra damage. Just for the spec flavor. Oh well
You are really splitting hairs, here.
No.
Take that mask off, breh. Also Trovix explained this well ^^^
Every single design and game play decision seems to have been made with the question, ‘how do we slow the player down?’ in mind. When it comes to Legion/BFA content anyway.
I like legion invasions 10x more than incursions.
I could probably find at least 1 passive/visual for every single spec. It seems like such a shame to through all of those visuals away and take us backwards. Maybe just give them all back if you transmog a legion artifact? I don’t care if it doesn’t do any damage. There is more to the game than maxing dps/hps, the visuals made me want to log my enhancement shamans and do mythic+ dungeons for fun even though I was doing one that offered zero upgrades. I had at least 1 of every class at max level, collected all 36 mage tower appearances, and would bounce around to different characters for kicks because the artifacts were so much fun.
It’s worth $36 CAD if you like WoW. There’s pros and cons for sure but the only way to know if it’s fun for you is if you play it yourself. It’s not my favorite expansion but I’ve been having fun.
Cool. I like BFA Incursions 10x more than Legion Invasions.
Different strokes for different folks
Can’t really say one is better than the other
Hence why I said “the majority”.
Obviously we all have different takes, but I would figure Incursions are received better because they are much faster.
I haven’t seen any stats to lead me to that conclusion
Nothing on these boards have stats to prove anything, but here we are making claims as usual.
It’s definitely not my favorite expansion, but the quest lines are fun and it’s worth playing if you like the game.
I see.
So I can say the majority of people preferred legion invasions over incursions.
I like this
You most certainly may, it’s not any different than what the BFA haters have been doing for months now.
I still think most classes are fun, some are better than legion, some worse. But I think in general people are referring to little things like the 13% damage reduction shamans got when using healing stream totem, or the damage reduction holy paladins got after judging a target. They may seem insignificant, or like passives you wouldn’t think people notice, but it is very noticeable, at least for me.
My spec was more locked in during Legion than BFA. I use a much larger variety of talent options than I have ever used during Legion.
If you want to talk about visuals. Fine. But that has nothing to do with talking about using 1 cookie cutter spec in BFA vs having options or something in Legion.
Would I recommend BFA to a fried?
