the only thing i agree with you on here about so far
With the excemption of skills being behind covenents/another AP grind. I do look forward for this expansion. The story looks to be pretty promising for it, and most of the mob designs looks pretty nice.
never said it wasn’t, it looks good, but it was still simple
They don’t have legitimate concerns.
Not every player will like every aspect of the game all the time.
It doesn’t work like that. This guy fundamentally doesn’t like the game anymore. This player is living with fond memory of times gone back when they didn’t enjoy the game.
They don’t like the game anymore or they wouldn’t sit their crying about the things he is.
Bottom line he hates the game. It’s not gunna change for him. It is what it is. Build a bridge or quit. Those are the only choices.
I’m looking forward to it. I’m a simple man with simple needs. Give me content and I’m a happy camper.
Personally both excited and not at the same time. Somewhat looking forward to the new art and new mounts to collect. Dreading the covenant system. That said, it looks like blizzard is realizing now that they should have just separated covenant choice from gameplay systems, since they are nerfing the good picks into the ground so people don’t feel bad for picking certain covenants that are terrible. Can’t feel bad when all gameplay choices are terrible, right?
No. It can still give up to mythic raid ilvl.
I’ve tempered my personal hype a bit to avoid being disappointed, but I am still excited for the new content to go live.
Not really. Ardenweald may be the only thing worthwhile for me besides raiding. Let’s hope I can actually see it instead of having to deal with something like ravendreth.
I’m so tired of slooveenie. Not looking forward to horde and alliance teaming up again just to have the switch flipped for the following expac.
That is my point. As soon as people find out how terrible SL is people are going to try and find a way to let blizzard know, the forums seems like a good place for that no?
I expect SL to be a lot like WoD and BFA in that mainline questing is okay to good, and everything else is rather mediocre and feels grindy and annoying.
Shadowlands has brand new things to kill, maybe some of them will be edible! maybe not excited but curious.
I absolutely cannot wait.
I’ve yet to see a single thing that I liked about it. It’s just systems on top of systems.
I am trying to be optimistic thinking that BFA ending is a great thing but honestly SL is looking like it’s going to be even worse :v
BFA was the opposite for me.
I found the mainline questing annoying.
Enjoyed raiding/m+.
You face your butt. I’m super excited. I love the look of all the zones.
Are you kidding me? The art team has done an absolutely sensational job with the zone design in Shadowlands. Thankfully I’m in beta and have been able to witness all of its splendor firsthand.
I mean, of course you’re entitled to your opinion, but I don’t think that opinion has much validity behind it. I bet you haven’t even played in any of them.
Sounds more like a, “doomsday” prediction of what you think the zones will be like than what reality actually is.
I can attest and assure you, the zones are anything but bland.
How can they be proven to be a disaster when it’s not even been played on normal servers yet? You can’t that claim when it’s still in beta.
I’m in beta, most of the systems from what I’ve tried have been pretty fun. I’m sure there’s lots of a tuning going on and re-working some things, but I’m excited to try them all out, especially crafting my own Legendaries.
You mean like every other MMORPG in the history of the universe? Grinding for currencies, rewards and gear is the crux behind every MMORPG in existence.
Maybe you should just quit now, sounds like you’re absolutely miserable and insufferable. Nothing we can say will change your perception.
Somethings I am looking forward to. Not everything. I heard we don’t really have an endgame zone yet and just Torghast which is more of less a challenge tower. Instead of an actual zone, like Suramar.
I guess BFA did something similar when I think of it. Not really an endgame zone more or less a minigame area. Which it was island expeditions, a lot of people raised pitchforks to that content.
I heard they delayed to try and do more work on the Maw. (I’ve been hearing bad things there of boredom, vast emptiness etc) So I thought an endgame zone would be getting TLC but less than 30 days for the delay…don’t see how that will fix it.
So again I am interested and seeing some content. Just other content it seems I should be more weary of from what I been hearing.
And you have gotten your answer, from what I can see the majority of people posting in here are looking forward to Shadowlands. I personally am looking forward to it also. I made this new account just to restart playing because of SL.
I tend to only pay money for things I am looking forward to.
Tons of people actually. You just aren’t. Which isn’t bad, everyone got there opinions
