I think the only problem is that so many of these events are already depricated. They need to be made to scale so that they are soloable if no one else is around.

This may be a part of it. I definitely have the sense of “I have to get these things done NOW or I won’t be able to get everything from this for years.” I had that with Forbidden Reach, then with Zaralek. Now we just got Time Rifts but 10.1.7 is already on PTR with yet another “group required for open world content” feature.
