Is anybody gonna enjoy the ride instead of all this rushing to 60?

people will enjoy the game as they see it. news at 11

I’m not taking launch week off, so there’s really no reason at all for me to rush.
I’m going to be stuck smack dab in the middle of the levelling pocket, so I’ll either have to change zones constantly to actually be able to quest, or just stick to instances to level.

I’m not rushing because I’m going to play GR Breakpoint when it comes out in Oct and then Death Stranding in Nov. So Classic will be in rotation but not a stand-alone focus.

Im going to be kind of in between. Im going to try and get to 60 quickly, but im not looking up leveling routes or anything like that like.

I will be playing a ton, with several different toons, but I will be taking my time and enjoying the long ride!

I’m going to enjoy the rush to 60!

Healing old dungeons is one of the 2 best things going for me in Classic.

any time i dont have planned to play mythic + and raids will be spent on classic leveling up and gearing.

im not gonna be rushing to the max but im also not gonna slack around bull crapping as much either.

its gonna be fun.

Soooo slooooowwwwww for me.
Hitting 60 is about the last goal I have. It isn’t even a goal, just something that is going to ā€œhappenā€ eventually.
With an estimated infinite amount of time to play a game with a known end point, I see no point at all in rushing through anything this time around.

nah, speed run or gtfo

Nope. Don’t have time for that. Will be 60 before the end of the second week along with four friends.

When I started playing WoW, one thing that impressed me was what a chill experience it was. No time pressure whatsoever. I could spend days doing nothing except chatting with guildies and other friends, and/or just nosing around, without accomplishing anything else. Every now and then I would gain a level, almost like a byproduct.

Hope to replicate that.

It is sad that many people will ruin the Classic experience for themselves by rushing to endgame. In other words, they will lower Classic to the Retail level by treating it just the same.

Old?

The game isn’t going anywhere, unlike private servers which have a short shelf life.

I don’t find speed leveling fun. World pvp, dungeons, and other activities will all sidetrack me.

I have no rush to 60 because I’ve no intention on raiding.

My entire plan is to take it slow and enjoy the ride. I’m doing every zone. I’m doing every dungeon as I level up. I’m finding a partner when it comes to elite quests.

My entire goal is to experience what I didn’t before.

I just hope Blizzard/Activision doesn’t screw it up.

Yes I do plan on rereading the quests. Looking at all the wonderful and amazing art that Blizzard put in the game. That is why I always enjoyed questing.

And the real real reality is finding 40 people for a raid is going to be tough even in some hard core guilds. People get sick there internet might go down or they quit. And there will be guilds looking for fill ins in general. And these guilds will be spamming general " Looking for DPS/Heals/Tank must be attuned". The real questions is though will it be even worth your time. The chances of getting gear not being in the guild are very slim.

true, the point of the game is to have fun and i think that’s where the most fun is to be had, i never reached max level until wotlk and i played since vanilla

I want to play often and go fast in that regard, but I don’t want to zerg via a cheese method of sort that results in me doing something like spamming an instance or grinding an area for a week straight.

I’m not sure what my end game will look like. Probably lots of PvP, but I might check out raiding too. From that standpoint getting to 60 before the honor system goes live and having prep time to get professions smoothed out or something is my general goal.

Edit: I will probably stop and smell the roses more on other characters that I play.

I took off the week of the 26-30th, but I will be enjoying the ride to 60. No rush

I am glad the run up to Classic is coming to an end (There will be much rejoicing!)…but I am not rushing through this second chance to grow Q in this game now that the run up is nearmost over.
