It’s a subjective question without a definitive answer. I suppose what matters is what you play this game for? If it’s rpg and narrative, then probably not. I have been taking time to play other mmos who do a better job in that department. If you like systems, numbers, and instanced content, then probably so.
No, and that’s the funny part about this entire situation. People white knighting blizzard think 9.1 is some saving grace.
Lol for the wait we got no…even if it were on time it hardly fixed any of the issues people had with it.
I’ll be honest I think it will be more of the same which will lead to me canceling my subscription and more then likely play another game until next expansion.
I’m burnt out on WOW and need something new to entertain me.
I have more fun on thr forums then playing WOW currently, Just being honest
I haven’t seen anything on PTR that makes me think it was worth the seven or wight month wait, no.
Of course it’s a bit like asking if the food is worth the wait at a restaurant - if you already know what you ordered shouldn’t take two hours to come out and it arrives cold then even your favorite dish may not be worth the wait.
I remember when I went to this seafood place in Florida where we ordered, sat down, and were waiting for two hours. Then the food was raw
You described my situation exactly LOL … glad I saw your comment
Saying the new megadungeon is dead on arrival is so stupid; it’s for gear catchup, a new experience, and by 9.1.5 it’ll become a new M+ dungeon and the gear will then scale to what we need for higher ilvls.
People complain they only make high end content and casuals have nothing to do > give casuals a megadungeon that won’t require top end gear and they still complain. Mind boggling, some of you just hate the game and it’s time to admit it and go.
Trust me, the Korthian covenant assaults are awful…and that’s pretty much the intro content to 9.1…
I’m just here for that Fae helm…
Not really because I don’t think it needs saving. I’m enjoying it just fine, so I’ll enjoy more of it even more.
We have content-drought. 9.1 introduces new content. New raid, new Tazavesh megadungeon, new zone in Korthia, new shards system, new currency, new layers of Torghast, flying, etc. It’s a new playground for us kids.
Probably not.
If Domination gems and gear stay primarily in raid, then no. It feels like a worse 8.3 at the moment.
Definitely not, slands feels like it’s over already and it hasn’t even been a year
this right here every endgame content should have it why not make all endgame just as good. whoever says the pandemic caused it no it didn’t tons of businesses other games did fine. what caused it is poor management and poor management is what causes these broken garbage systems every expansion since legion an overloaded butt knowing we can’t handle this kind of expansion after 3 should tell someone something.
It definitely doesn’t look all that interesting.
maaan… I wish I was easily entertained
Based on what is coming out, the best way to get gear is through the raid. You can grind currency and rep for a piece of Domination Gear. The domination ‘shards’ also drop primarily from the raid. The most soul cinders you can collect is from the raid.
Makes you honestly think what the point is of making Korthia when the bulk of the meaningful currency is, once again, in the raid.
A fine wine is worth the wait. But this is waiting for a rotten egg. Nov 2020, June 2021, Jan 2022 are the content they’ve done for the expansion. 3 different years for half the normal stuff.
There is no information that I’ve seen that cinders are a raid drop.
I’ve only seen that it comes from torghast, maw/korthia events.
The rest ya, it’s just catering to Raiders. PVPers are already mad that those shards/gems or whatever can be used there too
Though from what I’ve seen, Korthia feels like a slapped on little area. My hopes for a better 10.0 is slipping away lol if this is what they will be doing going forward.
Battlefield, Halo Infinite, and a Starfield are all coming out after years in development. The itch to completely wipe this account and move on is… palpable.
For raiders kinda yes. For everyone else probably not.
The good patch will be 9.2.
.1 patches never bring much aside from new raid, balance changed and new m+ and pvp changes.
It’s the .2 and .3 patches that bring more world content
