The phrase “ripcord” was one that ion used in an interview when asked about the ability to swap covenants and conduits etc easily. It was used as a way of saying if we need to pull that ripcord (because it is bad for players and they are leaving) then we can.
Imo this is the new ripcord where they obviously have the 8bspecifiv dungeons in mind and will have them for leveling etc so the assets are done (or will be by release) so if they wanted to give us all the m+ they could.
Instead they are trying to find the minimal viable product they can sell us and I am “voicing my opinion” by posting about it on the forums and saying that unless it changes then I won’t pay them. Just like I did last time.

You have 8 dragonflight dungeons. 4 will be rotated in M+ each season with additional 4 from past dungeons. There won’t be ONLY 4 new dungeons in general. You really are one jaded, negative person lol
maybe theyll come in batches of 4?
like maybe its 12 dungeons but we get 4 at a time or something.
would give devs time to work on cool dungeons and newer players would be less intimidated about learning so many new mechanics.
i dont mind if they take time to make very good dungeons. were stuck farming them for a while.

You must have forgotten that people were not happy going form 12 (10+mechagon) down to 8 in SL anyway. 8 is absolutely the minimum amount (and should be 10 Imo like bfa had). If they chop that down by half and fill with old dungeons that we have been running for the last few years then there will be a lot of people who see it like I do.
If they had old dungeons repurposed into m+ in those other 4 slots then that could be different but they would have said if that was their plan.

this isn’t a ripcord. its more of a experiment. we are doing this live while there would be a content drought otherwise so not much to loose to try something new.

I think season 4 sounds interesting to full the down time you are right.
