100% agreed Blizzard needs to be the visionaries and use player feedback only as an out of bounds rail. Using players to guide vision is a recipe for disaster. We can’t agree on anything, ever.
The reality is, if we are talking fresh Era servers, SoD2 and other relatively small efforts then Classic is going to continue to recirculate the same player pool. That will not “be the end” but it will be more of the same.
If they make a concerted effort to make a top shelf product via Classic+, and market it as a new game release, they absoluetly can draw in new players and start seeing growth again.
