AFK’d matches don’t count one way or another.
its also a silly argument to make, everyone afks from matches, this is a video game, not real war, you aren’t leaving your buddies to die, nobody is expecting you to make last stands or to sit in a game for an hour not having fun. its also factually wrong, when i afk its often long before the match ends, so its not like im flubbing numbers like Ruthlessbro is claiming, i just afk from games i don’t want to be in, just like he does.
I’ll take IoC over Wintergrasp and Ashran any day.
^ this. I’d love for Strand to come back myself, but WG should just go away. I still find IOC fun though.
but strand is a 10 man, while WG is a 40 man, if strand came back it would not replace wintergrasp, strand was removed so they could make room for seething shore
na man, i stick to the game, even though im losing. lmao. its fine though
If /afk’d matches were counted as losses, they’d probably have a sub-50% win rate lol.
Manufacturing win rates by afking out repeatedly ruins the point.
Not really a fan of 40 mans, was glad they broke them off but was bummed when they made epics part of a daily bonus instead of letting players choose what they like for the first X amount of bgs per week
A lot of players love 40 mans though
In the end, a choice of bg is heavily influenced by what you think will generate the fastest rewards if you are on an honor grind
Some bgs players like will sometimes be avoided because the win ratio sucks and they want their grind to go faster
And then there is always the BG’s you actually enjoy playing. I have liked AV from the time it was released. The only redeeming factor for W/G was access to Archavon if you controlled the territory. IoC is generally lopsided and difficult for new players to grasp the objectives, Ashran the same.
you know what counts as a loss? a loss, like yours, last night.
Just because I hold the record for quickest Wintergrasp battleground win doesn’t mean my win rate is 100%.
Contrary to popular belief, I’m not perfect.
records obtained by cheating aren’t recognized. that’s like taking a shortcut and wanting your laptime to still count. doesn’t work that way, sorry.
he didn’t cheat though. lmao. anyways pls dont derail my thread. if you want to cause drama go some place else i know how you SaS live for it. i dont understand faction pride…lolz its a game
he had Alphon run a non-standard bomb brought in from somewhere else in the game. Alec then tried to play it off like its the new meta but unfortunately Alphon spilled the beans and admited it was a multimonth long setup and not repeatable.
go and ask any and every record keeping group if they would find that acceptable. i guarantee the answer is no. when you do things right, you dont have to justify or qualify them, even your enemies will recognize it.
out of all the epic comms, the only ones spreading rumor and lies about SAS is SOD. not even Ruin does that. you missed the finer points of trash talk and went straight to character assassination, maybe dial it back a bit.
It CAN be repeated. Just takes a few months of prep.
Speaking of which, last time I did it was…a few months ago, yep?
what i have been digging into lately is my ebike, i’ve got it all setup to go bikepacking this summer. i bought a monster of a bike too: fat tires, 2200watts, dual motor AWD, its got 125ftlbs of torque, this is like a tank in bicycle format, it doesn’t care what the terrain is, hill, mud, snow, sand, it powers through it all. i’m hoping to get my first solo overnighter done hopefully before july when all the texans flee to colorado for the summer and book up all the campgrounds.
my point is you care more about breaking a record than the people who set it. while you are spending literal months plotting how to get back at SAS, we don’t reciprocate.
Now, I don’t have a dog in this fight, but for what it’s worth I briefly tuned into Alec’s twitch stream over the weekend and overheard him saying something about “SAS gets scared and afks out when they see me, let’s see if they afk out here”. I thought it was a funny out-of-nowhere/offhand remark
Not sure what the final outcome of that match was (an AV, I think?), I was kinda zoned out watching RWF coverage in a different tab/window, so not really “watching” Alec but more listening in on the side.
Been a while since I took a peek in here, and of course it’s still mostly premaders arguing about which premade is better etc.
Anyways, carry on with your premade talk…
/quietly slips out of thread
No you can’t
(Things that make you go) hmmm
