Phasing is pretty well borked this patch. I just joined a group for Azuregos, 3/4 of the members were invisible to the rest of us. Same for Lord Kazzak and then again for Emeris. Then on the way back to Orgrimmar, the Stranglethorn Vale-Orgrimmar zeppelin could be heard arriving and departing, but not visible and not boardable. So I jumped through the portal to Undercity (always a gamble that is), was relieved I came into the post-toxic no-Brill three portal version. Jump through to Orgrimmar, ran down to the Caverns of Time portal and there wasn’t one. In fact, I looked around and none of the portals or their npcs were to be seen. So, here I am, and I see our old < sarcasm >friend< /sarcasm > the phasing bug is alive and well. So much for hoping I had seen the last of that menace after Dragonflight.
That didn’t work for me last night, but it worked for someone else in an earlier group.
In any case, looks like Blizz went home for the weekend. Perhaps they can fix this in next week’s update.
Yeah, Blizzard Developers hopefully are hard on it, for it seems to also be in the open world now where a singular player gets a whole phase for themselves, and anything they place, phases away. I am currently in a 100% empty Dornogal. No players, but I can’t use Direbrew’s Remote, as the Drill phases away as well.
Can confirm. I am experiencing this as well. I updated my graphics driver thinking that was the issue. Not fixed.
Same. Dornogal is empty. I only see Warlock and Hunter pets in the open world and instances.
I can see people’s AoE and sometimes graphical effects (like sparkles, shadowform’s shadowy wisps, etc)
Just saw a Druid log into Dornogal, just to be instantly phased away.
Note for the Devs: I see people in Stormwind City, just not on Khaz Algar, or Timewalking intances/raids.
i’m having this issue too, but not onlyh in DGs. This happenned with me in raids groups in World Bosses.
My first TW dungeon was fine. I just queued for Doom/Sha/Arch and 90% of the players were invisible, and showing in the sea beneath Bloodmyst Isle on my map.
Blizz - this is URGENT - people cannot play the game because things/people are untargetable/invisible all over the zones (timewalking dungeons, normal dungeons, heroic dungeons, world events, heck even Disturbed earth piles)
It’s also happening to me very frequently. LFRs, Custom groups for world bosses, main cities. Not WM related.
Same issue is happening for me - Most players are invisible except Hunters and Warlocks.
Happened to me in an open world group for world bosses.
Same thing happened but in the BRD raid that I joined earlier. Didn’t happen to me specifically, but two of the healers had the problem and had to leave since a reload didn’t fix it.
It’s almost like the sharding system’s gone into overdrive and been turned on for instances, for whatever reason. I’m on Moon Guard, which as an RP server generally only has sharding turned on in current content like Dornogal. This morning I could see plenty of people in Tanaris without issue, but Dornogal was empty.
Happened to me twice last night in LFR second wing of Nerub-ar Palace.

Happened in all my classic time walking. Could see hunter/dk pets but no party members
Well, it’s been a day…
First thing I did when I logged in was start a M+ group with my +10 key, today was the day I was going to push for portals. I could see everyone fine, then when I inserted the key and started, I could only see me and the hunter. Key was bricked, obviously.
Joined a Doomwalker group, couldn’t see anyone except the boss was dying.
Dornogal empty although I can see people emoting.
Other world bosses, same as Doomwalker.
Tried to portal me and a friend to Stonard for a NIGHTBANE mount run. Portal kept disappearing after one second. Gave up.
Mage teleported to Undercity, it dropped me in Vash’jir… (How does this even happen?!)
Attempted to use Garrison hearthstone on an alt to grab some pet treats and instead teleported ridiculously high above… Somewhere… Map didn’t even know where I was. Fell for 2 minutes before I got disconnected. Logged back in and was in the very Southeast of Shadowmoon Valley on a little island… I’m Horde, so had to fly to Frostfire Ridge instead.
And finally, did the headless horseman on my prot paladin, and the Loot Filled Satchel was… Empty. Literally says “No Loot” when I click it. Tried logging out and back in, still empty. Item doesn’t disappear from bags. I’m just gonna hold onto this little bugged souvenir I guess.
I planned on going swimming today early in the day IRL, but it started raining, so was like great, extra WoW time. Azeroth decided it was gonna rain on my day too, I guess.
Did three test queues solo, and it seems to have been fixed?
No solo world phases, nor “ghosts” in dungeons (yet).
BRD still bugged, still cant run it
