When ever I watch videos or streams and they open up their bags it’s ALWAYS a disaster. They just have so many random items in there, nothing is organized and they ether have no slots open or just a few. Is everyone this bad at inventory management? Would a solution be to add more bag slots? I just don’t understand how people can have SO much stuff in their bags.

I use Bagnon so I’m sure my collection of food, armor, weapons, and miscellaneous…things will look like a disaster to others. But trust me, it is quite organized to where I can find what I need.
Now my bank. That I can say is an inventory disaster because I just shove things in without a care.

I generally run with 30-50 open bag slots. I have the Yak mount with vendors plus an addon that automatically sells junk items. I use them frequently. For organization, I use the adibags addon and it’s filters.
My dk’s bank is completely full. They have relics in there, old DK starting items (from wrath) all kinds of stuff.
I have all that and my running bag slots is like… 10 lol

My bank is like that one closet in the house where all of your “catch all” items go 
My inventory is great, but the bank… we don’t go there.
Maybe bank slots.
Every so often I have to clean my bags out on all of my toons. Its such a wonderful feeling going from 20 or so open slots to 90+
Until its a week later and i’m back at 25 or so.
I rarely make time to organize or even go through a toon’s bags. The other day I was really running low on space and made the time to actually look at what was there. Found duplicates, older lower level versions of items in use of higher level, etc.
When one is limited in time, you can clear out bags, or play, and I usually choose play. And… it adds up. I found altaholic helps, so I can send to alts and consolidate crafting items. But the other stuff? shrug
I clean my bags daily. Clutter drives me insane.

Most people don’t know what things are for if its not gear or vendor trash. They just hold on to it.
All I know is NEVER hit the auto sort button! NEVER…it is evil! You will never find anything again.

I do all the time. It gives consistent sorting of items that I have adapted my “filesystem” to that sort order.
That button is evil. I think they added it just to troll me.
Also, whoever thinks that is organized is on drugs.

I run with 30 open slot the rest food etc and yeah the bank is another matter .

It bugs me to no end about all the stuff i accumulate during my sessions in the game. I cant even wait daily…ill clean them between quest hubs on alts or after a daily quests session on my main.
Everything has its place. All mats in either my or the guild bank, boe gears that i might find useful later in my or the guild bank, all other bop items in my bank. I also use the sweep items on both banks regularly to keep it all high and tight.
Much of my time is spent on inventory management…and, im okay with that.

How do you not know if it isn’t organized? My bags may look a mess, but I have a specific system that i use on every character and I know exactly where to find stuff.
