This sounds like a lot of fun to me. It’s a shame some people are so miserable that this infuriates them, like the first response dude.
But I’ll probably enjoy this more than watching a bunch of people run the same 4 dungeons everyone runs all season.

Yep. Just like it’s SWTOR, Rift, ESO, GW2, FFXIV, etc. The game doesn’t fundamentally change because housing exists in all of them.

Why not just have whatever players enter their home in some competition that can be judged by other players in the community? Why all the other poo? Why add the extra social media steps? Everyone on that stuff ain’t even real. I’m not just saying that because my “mental healthcare team” and CA says I ain’t to be on them due to the incident at the facebook campus, but for the sake of simplicity. Besides no one outside of WoW is going to give the rear of a rat about that Zillow listing. Sorry.
There’s one weapon so far. It’s from the Dracthyr Endeavor. And more incoming with Midnight. Axes, spears etc.

In Palia, they have Housing Tours. You decide if you want your plot to be part of it every week. And the game takes a snapshot of it, loading it into a different instance so that they aren’t wandering your plot while you’re there.
They can vote with different positive emojis: magical, cozy, cool, awesome. That sort of thing. Participate and you get currency for decos and nameplates.

Housing would be fun I’m sure, but if they cannot manage the coreloop of the game itself, then there’s no reason to care about mounts, mogs, or housing.
I personally just want them to stop treating current content like a worthless mobile game experience.
Not interested in waiting on a weekly login lootbox experience I can’t play around, only pay around. They simply won’t let me play how and when I want for fun.
The company does not care about fun or integrity, they care about how long they can wring out folks’ sunk cost fallacy for and to monetize upon that.
Everyone and anyone worth interacting with in regards to housing enthusiasm and content creation has been the furthest from competitive. Who is this for?
I will continue to roast this idea until the very moment there is a feature that lets me potentially swipe these award winning builds we’re going to be officially parading about.

How do you plan to do that when interior walls reset and don’t even hold their folk dark appearance when you zone in and out of the house?

There was a statement made about that IIRC. Its on the horizon. First I would rather have a full suit of tools like copy/paste including size and orientation.
