Intentional Griefing with keystone abandon system

No.
It does not.

Well this post has gotten so much more attention than I anticipated. For those coming at the post rn this is the TLDR:

  • Current system in fact is not suitable for keys above +10, where people don’t care about completion anymore. In fact, it actually creates even more problems than there was before the system: being held hostage in a key, waiting 6 minutes to abandon a bricked key, etc.
  • Whoever is defending the current system does not play high keys at all in PUGs, so they think everyone will go to a +13 and happily complete the dungeon after wiping on the first pull. They do not have any understanding of how tight the timer is on higher level keys.
  • Best solution? Keep the system at +10 and lower keys, and remove it completely from +11 and higher keys.

But a few threads ago you were alongside Snozy boasting about the high end community of M+ yet you dont have 3k yet and claim a skill issue against yourself?

The logic just isnt there. Either you are or arent.

50% of the key player base is in +3

good you figured out where the majority of the player base is.

Also your post did not get any light. You had 3 people that wanted leaver penality out so they can leave as soo as they wipe.

When i asked them what on the flood gates first trash pack - what happene when someone dies - do we insta leave ?

No one has answered yet - maybe you will.

you just answered your own question. some people may want to not vote to abandon no matter what, even if they dont interupt, dont use defensives, heck dont even know whats up or down.

pretending as if the system can’t be abused is just silly. but didnt expect much from forum trolls like you luuba

i actually had respect you since i have seen you here since Dragon Flight - but you go off see how it works out for you.

try and stop being a forum contrarian for once and actually critically think about the issue

:person_shrugging:

sorry i stand up for PUG groups. Sure count me as contrarian.

See if OP actually defends his post when i bring logic in why the system is in place.

He wont because he is an elitist.

No, you troll.

Damn, why are you resorting to name calling now? I thought you were above this being a good player and all.

no reasonable person cares about the stupid tombstones.

you are overblowing the “leaver problem” to a ridiculous degree.

Its suitable for the entire bracket because the problem is in the entire bracket.

You cannot be held hostage in a video game. :newspaper_roll:

Reduce the timer

Except it has been proven that yes, there are people that run high keys that are for this system.

Blizzard has the metrics. Blizzard says its a problem. Its a problem.

It’s a problem when the player is the problem.

Not everyone is good, which is okay, but those are the people that encounter the problem.

And you don’t want to be trapped with those problem players. It’s where this system is a huge negative.

If some is new, and repeatedly dies to mechanics, then yea. players are probably going to leave. Esp if it’s a high key.

GG go next. And if they’re not willing to accept that, they are the issue.

Except that is a lie. This problem happens to people of all skill levels, across the entire bracket.

It has nothing to do with being good or bad. It has everything to do with people leaving habitually.

Let me put it like this. If you are constantly getting into groups where you think others are bad, and so you leave and get the mark? They aint bad. YOU are.

Yes, not everyone is qualified for the key they are attempting to do. Anyone not qualified will encounter the leaver problem repeatedly.

This applies to ALL skill levels.

It’s rather do you accept going next?

That is not why people leave. This has already been proven in this thread and others. People are staying in groups they would have left, and they are timing it. This has nothing to do with being bad or good.

This is about players like you willfully breaking CoC because you think you are better than others.

Again. This mark does not mean anything unless you are a habitual leaver. If you are a habitual leaver, that means you are leaving FAR more than just ‘bad groups’.

Take a look at yourself.

There needs to be a forum hall monitor mog.

OH I love that.

You know someone breaks CoC when they call someone a ‘hall monitor’. You also know what kind of student they were.

I get it though. Its hard to debate on the internet without using such logic. Its difficult to come up with argument after argument about this system, after they keep getting demolished.

So you say I am a hall monitor for wanting the rules enforced. Does that not make you a trouble making hooligan?

well i saw some one get Slaughtered at 5.58 pm today. i was actually doing my solo 11s. i had to stop and recheck the tombstone.

That was pretty savage from Blizzard. I would pay to check where Snozy, Annastasi, Fauxtrasa took the L. they talk a lot. Lets all get it and ride dirty.

Bring that to keys, i want to see humbled foos
