Hmm

Intel’s Chiplet design. Big take away is RAM can now be put closer to compute dies. No more need for speculative execution (goodbye Spectre/Meltdown).

Awesome step forward.

This ladies and gents is what Intel has been working on for a long time (I’m still under NDA but I’ll say expect good).

AMD has good ideas and took baby steps. Intel just went all out. The core wars will need to be fueled by memory bandwidth. Here’s your solution. HCM on chip anyone?

which is never a good thing.

did you forget Intel’s time before Ryzen?
They had no competition and apart from high as heck prices they stagnated for years on end.

I mean look at GPU’s for what happens w/o equal competition.

RTX cards are a frick ton and they charge that becasue nobody has a rival to it.

(ignoring fact that 90% of the features didnt exist that use it upon release)

W/o competition in a product corporations get greedy.

That is bad news for consumers.
