Can we reverse the “everyone can make a DK on any realm” decision now? The abuse is ridiculous…
Then do a massive bot ban wave.

The original game had a requirement here for a reason. We tried to warn the modern monkeys in charge why it was there and the danger of taking it off. Now DK bots are all over the place. If Blizzard wasn’t going to police the game, the least they could have done is leave the original requirement there so bots had to start from level 1, not a free 55.
So legitimate DKs should get hit too then have to struggle with Blizzard’s HORRENDOUS support to get our account back? No thanks. Horrible idea, and I doubt you’d ever have made it if it was you eating the bullet.

Do you think Activi$ion cares? Classic exists to scrape the bottom of the barrel with the least amount of effort and investment.
Why would they hire GMs to actually police the game? Now you’re paying salaries and losing subs.

guys I am not a bot, and they type some random off the wall statement. see bots don’t do this.
its been fun with an off and on DK I made since I moved an 80 to whitemane and I can make another one there for something to do after pvp rotations done.

They should just make GDKPs a ToS violation and give heavier punishments to accounts caught taking part in RMT. Problem solved. Now villages won’t be farming WoW gold to feed some man-children’s gaming addiction

This would be funny if it weren’t so sad. Blizzard created the perfect conditions for bots to exist and now they have thousands of new subs to make their numbers look good after they lost all their Chinese business. The bots aren’t going anywhere. Posting on the forums is all we can do, and yet it won’t accomplish anything in this case.

I just never got to understand all these years that why DK needs to start at 55 and not 1 like everyone else…

I wish I had something more substantial to explain this then my foggy memory of what blizz stated back in the day but here we go.
DK’s were the first “hero class” and thusly are awarded the special privileges’ of starting at lvl 55 and being, on release, the strongest class in the game for a large portion of wrath. The design is something that would work in a RTS style game like WC3 but falls flat in a game where there is no unit scarcity or resources to use to create that “hero”. The initial design when announced was to have iirc paladin players “kill” their paladin to then rise as a Death Knight, there’s one badly made blizz video showing this concept but it was abandoned.
I think it was also easier to do the starting zone as they wanted it within that lvl 55-58 bracket because of the zone it was in (EPL). Second theory is that it would increase the desire to play the new class if it didn’t start at level one and would be getting into Northrend quicker that way.

If they’re not going to do anything about bots, they should atleast bring back honorbuddy instead of these knockoffs.
