This has already been suggested, but here it is again.

  1. Enter the instance
  2. Pick pocket the mobs before the dogs
  3. Reset
  4. Repeat

Solution 2:

  1. Level up by dungeons, PvP, questing
  2. Go to the instance when you are around level 80
  3. Pick pocket all the mobs inside.
  4. Reset and repeat.

You like to Solo, i like to Solo too.
The boxes u want is “Heavy Junkboxes” not Sturdy.

Lower Blackrock Spire … is a Party Dungeon … supposed to be run with 5 level 60 players. Not a Nightmare … and why would they do this? It was once top level content … and it is Normal Difficulty.

So i do not know where else you “run into this” … but if your Rogue is 70+ then you can bypass the Party/Raid restrictions … once you are 10 levels higher then the content it counts as “Legacy” and it is made easier.
So go level, and not expect to get everything for free without any effort.

Back in Vanilla, you could steal those not only from inside the Dungeon … but outside as well. Also it was meant to be a Long Term goal … not to be done in a few weeks.

The Dogs have the Eye … that means if you are in stealth, the range they aggro you is bigger then if you would not be in stealth.

You can also use abilities such as distract to keep them busy while you go in and sap them. Making it so that they don’t break your stealth.

11, I think. Avoidance and damage reductions start kicking in hard a few levels over and most stuff is soloable by 10 over. 11 is where the legacy overkill turns on and you just do 100x damage or something absurd.

It’s why 120s can solo Legion with effort and instakill WoD and below. The previous xpac still takes normal damage.

Especialy when they look in your direction, they will see you. Like you said, Distract and then come from behind, Sapping them.

Yeah its 71 for Vanilla stuff, doesn’t mean its a cakewalk at 71 though. And yeah, Legacy Rules do more then just let you loot like youre in a Max group.

On that note, once OP gets to Legion content you’ll want to find the toy vendor and get a Soft Foam Sword, which hits extremely outleveled enemies for exactly 90% max HP. It’s necessary when doing certain legacy quests where you have to injure but not kill certain enemies, because legacy overkill makes everything you do up to and including unarmed punches do 100k+ damage.
