To be specific my 2pc tier set bonus “The cooldown on Call of the Wild is reduced by 60 sec” does not appear to be functioning as intended in my Dark Ranger Call of the Wild specs and it’s incredibly easy to spot if you are also having the same bug. The 2pc bonus that reduces the cool down on Call of the Wild from 2 min to 1 min seems to work until I enter combat and then it turns up toa 1.7 min cool down. I actually see this in my talent tree,1.7min when I hover over, and the icon on my bar shows 1:42s remaining on the cool down. If I press call of the wild as my first button to enter combat then it goes to the correct :59s cool down on my bar, but then each repeated use of it while in combat puts it on the same 1 min 42 second cool down. Same goes for my AOE or or single target Dark Ranger specs. I’ve tried taking the gear on and off again and it doesn’t fix it. Leaving combat usually clears the bug but as I was writing this, auto attacking a dummy in Dorn , the bug stayed after combat was over until I logged out and back in again. Exiting combat didn’t fix it. Didn’t bother even to try and see if anything else was bugged with the set after discovering this when I was trying to wrap my head around why parses were so low as Dark Ranger in raid. Is anyone else having this problem? Am I having a dimentia moment and need a nap because there is something I don’t see in our toolkit that randomly increases the cooldown back up to 1.7min? I haven’t seen anyone else mention this specific bug anywhere, but I have seen several complaints about the inconsistencies in Dark Ranger dps.
Must’ve been something they added recently, i’ve used DR as BM recently and it was working as intended.

I’ve made three tickets about it, nothing back yet. Disabled all addons, did the “scan and repair” but still the bug remains. As if it’s hard coded into my gear somehow.
Day 4, another ticket made. Been trying to summon a GM to Dorn so I can show him the bug, heck I can even stream it on discord for one if they like. Showed a couple of WoW veteran friends and they are equally baffled by it.
it’s been happening to me too. my guess is it might have something to do with my alchemy accessories because i happened to notice after crafting a few pots and almost blowing myself up experimenting, i ran over to the dummies in dorn and it looked like my accessories were still equipped when i started and that’s when the issue started again. it could be anything but that’s my idea. having a 1 minute 37 second cooldown on Call of the Wild is such a huge detriment to the spec it’s unplayable
You’re the first person I’ve seen also having the same issue as me, good. My professions are Mining and Enchanting, and I’m never doing any of those ever. If you pop call of the wild to start combat you get the normal 1 min cd, but in combat it’s always 1 min 42 seconds, every time without fail. Even in my tree when I hover over the icon I see Call of the Wild change from 1 min cd, to 1.7 min cd. Agreed, I only play Pack Leader because of this bug, we don’t use Call of the Wild on it, and honestly I’ve been wondering how to actually see if this is a set bonus bug or some kind of other synergy bug that only effects Call. Because if this is a set bonus/piece bug there a good chance it might be affecting some of the other set bonuses as well and not just Call.
Just wondering, what are the odds that you are somehow entering pvp combat / triggering warmode which generally nukes PvE set bonuses ?

Yea i was able to trigger the “bug” by hitting pvp target dummies with warmode on :
*Actually hittin those dummies even w/o warmode sets cd to 1 min.
Well that’s interesting. I don’t have warmode on, haven’t had it on in ages, but it still puts the CD on 1.7min. It was happening to me even when hitting the raid dummy, assuming some splash damage hit a nearby pvp dummy and activated the “bug”.
Yea, i’d try it in a delve to see if it breaks or not, but def related to somehow triggering pvp
I’ve had this problem with Trueshot for dark ranger, i think swapping specs once fixed it for me
