Blizzard, why hasn’t the Infinite Timereaver dropped for me yet at this point? Currently at 15,696 attempts and still nothing. Done over 700 attempts the last 2 weeks and added another almost 9 lvl 60s to my roster just spam farming this thing. It’s a 1 in 4,000 chance and im creeping up on 16,000 attempts, 4 times the amount generally needed. Like seriously you need to make this drop for me already. Can’t say I havent put in the effort.

I’d like to have it too. Granted, it’s one of those mounts I probably will not actually use… but still, I’d like to have it. 
I got that thing a couple years ago or something, it is a nice mount.

Such is the way of RNG. 1 in 4000 doesn’t mean you’ll actually get it within 4000 attempts. You could get on the next run or be farming until the end of time. Possibilities are infinite

He means leveling his alts up he did TW, since TW dungeons are more accessible (especially the closer you get to SL with its gear requirements) and give like 50-60% more XP. It’s efficient to level up using those dungeons and get things like the timereaver.

There’s no bad luck protection on that. Something having an x% droprate doesn’t mean you’re guaranteed to get it in y amount of runs. Obviously…
People have farmed for the Tusks of Mannaroth for years and never seen it drop. It’s just how that works.

I finally got mine. Been trying since they came out with timewalking. I actually had submitted a suggestion to Blizzard back before timewalking that they should make a mount like Murazond. After getting the mount, I actually feel a sense of accomplishment like back when I got the Time Lost Proto Drake. Haven’t felt like that for a long time. I almost don’t care about the Heavenly Onyx now. Almost. 
I didn’t want it and it appeared, that’s the secret.
Been trying the same strat with Urzul but he knows I’m trying to trick him.

Aren’t the timewalk dungeons heroics? It has been so long since I didi them but I though they were heroic and had a lockout.
Running into the instance heroic dungeons have a daily lockout. Using the dungeon finder you can just keep spamming them indefinitely.

I know , that’s stupid, but just stop wanting it and it will drop.

When I stopped wanting it I stopped running them, so of course it didn’t drop. Now I have my timewalking gear, memories of Legion heroic dungeons are flooding back. I already soloed Serpentrix after the dps died because they were tunneling the boss instead of killing adds. Just like during Legion!

3999/4000 chance not to drop each attempt.
1 - (3999/4000) ^ 15696 chance to drop in 15696 attempts. That is 98%. strange but not illogical.
