For some reason every time I log in and would see some rug sticking out of the door or curtain being out of place all of a sudden so whenever I fix it and once the new patch comes or whatever then the same issue arise once again. Re-fixing the placements in almost every room has been nothing but a stupid hassle to the point that I might be done with housing for good.
Not trying to be whiny or anything, but there is absolutely no reason to make my virtual life more miserable with the housing glitches and bugs now and then where something needs to be fixed over and over, I just don’t understand this.

Its been a long time but I have had a rug problem where the next day it would be out of place and at ninety degrees. I deleted it! However, I’ve not had any problems with decor not staying put.

I don’t fix the decor, I put down another one to create a new decor ID then remove the old.

Just logged in today only to find out that my exterior door is cooked with rugs being out of place AGAIN - this has been happening almost everyday, I’m not even kidding.
This insane bug needs to be FIXED!!!
I do this on a daily base. Each new placed rug does the same as the old one that I deleted. I think the only thing that could possibly help me is an exorcist, because there’s clearly living something inside my wall.

You might try the bug report forum, I have my doubts the actual fix it people read this one. I have heard other people with the same thing. Another thing you might try is making sure it’s not in collision with anything, like place it with the “snap to grid” rather than the allow collision setting? Or think if there’s anything different about how the rug is placed than other items that aren’t moving. When I tried to have an exterior door look for inside my house it had to collide with the wall quite a bit, I gave up on it and things have behaved pretty well so far. If you already did that then you probably just have to wait for a fix.

There are a handful of books manually placed on shelves that will just be flipped around to some sort of default angle and rotation, or something, in one of my houses… happens at random moments.

I just started a HUGE project on my stream and logged in today to get ready, and theres over 40 items in just three rooms that are so cooked. I don’t know how this hasnt been solved yet

I am having the same problems. EVERY time I zone in something else has moved or rotated or ended up in completely random places. I don’t understand what is causing this to happen but its making me want to quit again. I left a few months ago when this bug popped up where it made my builds IMPOSSIBLE to create because things kept randomly moving. I gave it a few patches/months and I come back and this is STILL a problem with no word from the team on acknowledging it or if they are even working on it.
Incredibly frustrating because it keeps destroying everything I spend so much time carefully placing. I dont know what to do at this point but quit again for another few months and HOPE something is done..
