Increasing Anima Rewards from Dungeons and Raid Bosses

Oh completely, but dungeons and raiding was never the efficient way of doing so. Even with this increase, it’s still not the efficient way of doing so.

Since it’s not efficient, it wouldn’t be the primary reason you do m+ or raid.

I mean would you really be grinding m+ for anima? Personally even if I finish all the WQ, I wouldn’t be going into a dungeon just hoping for anima lol

ITT: People think raising anima drops in M+ and raids is somehow detracting from any effort (existent or not) to adjust the loot system itself.

I can guarantee you the people responsible for this change are not part of the same team that handles loot.

you can get the same anima as a full raid clear in 1/day

Cure multiple sclerosis and I will raid all damn day. Until then…

No chance there. More of a reality. Five days left on a sub that never broke since WoW went retail.

Doesn’t detract from how insulting and cack-handed this appears to be.

Should’ve rolled it into one fix between the both of them.

The perception here is: okay…but can it be more than a token pittance just to say you’re doing something?

So, nothing for those of us who do not enjoy in the slightest dungeons and raids? I mean I get it, this game caters to those who do instanced content but it would be nice if those of us who don’t could get a bone tossed our way once in a while.

This does not fix the problem for a lot of people. Only helps raiders and Mythic+ players. What about the rest of us?

Yeah no, 100%. Anima is almost at the bottom of my radar except for upgrading the transportation network. Bastion’s dungeons are far off the beaten path for anyone who isn’t Kyrian and people who can get there faster is welcome.

Priority 1? No. Nice QOL? Yes. Is it weird that the Anima reward is treated as if LFR and Mythic raiding are the same effort? YES. People clearing Heroic and Mythic should absolutely be getting rewarded for their time and effort. It’s not like we’re getting loot anyway.

no, I meant every day there is 1k+ of anima worth of WQ (around 10 wq usually), which is the same as killing every boss in the raid after this change

In typical Blizzard fashion they provide scraps then slightly buff it after they realize on Spreadsheet Simulator that “Player Engagement” is down. It doesn’t take a fortune teller to figure this out. The bean counters hard at work again. 105 anima from a +10 key has to be a joke considering how much you need for renown armor and upgrades. It should be at least triple that number from a dungeon given the time investment. Do 35 anima per keystone level. Lets start there.

I mean, any changes to the loot system itself (if they are coming) are almost assuredly going to be held over for a patch instead of hotfixes. From a business sense they have an incentive to walk the tightrope between pissing people off too much and getting re-subs because a patch has things people want.

I don’t agree with the risks they’re taking leaving things dangling like this, but clearly their execs do.

edit: With Blizzcon Online coming soon as well, I doubt we hear anything before then.

Was expecting a bit more.

Something like:
+2 to +6 105 anima
+7 to +9 140 anima
+10 to +14 175 anima
+15 and higher 210 anima

When u think about how much anima you need for upgrades and everything…

careful or they’ll nerf the world quest anima! lol

I am glad because this means we are being listened to at least. But this doesn’t help the players who do not do this content. I really think anima needs to be greatly increased from world quest rewards too. Maybe even give us anima from other open world activities.
Or perhaps the prices on most Anima items could be reduced? The prices are really steep for how little Anima one can get from things like world quests and rares. It would be nice to afford some of the things I have already unlocked with Renown without grinding for months for enough Anima

I think the excuse was that they were looking at the end of the xpac and how much anima we’d be rolling around in then.

No one cares about that now, though. No one is going to care about the covenant buildings/features/etc. then either.

Where are the PvE loot buffs Ion.

You can buy 197 gear with anima?!

Not in that boat, but i have blown money on wow i have probably a years worth of sub, just from all the RAF accounts i had linked, and the 6month subs.

I basically log in to a bunch of alts send them on FAIL mission for XP and then go back to watching my shows.
Turning everything off now.
