Increasing Anima Rewards from Dungeons and Raid Bosses

Anima? Seriously? What a slap in the face.

Because the entire point of M+ is to complete the dungeon within the timer.

As it should be. M+ is infinitely spammable with no lockout. If you aren’t good enough to clear it in time at the key level you failed at, then do a lower one. It’s the whole point of M+.

It’s almost like the systems are completely different. Raids have a weekly lockout, take longer, require more co-ordination and are generally more difficult than m+, until you start getting to 15+ keys.

Raids have a very small chance to drop loot for each (weekly) boss kill. The chest at the end of the week doesn’t drop massively higher ilvl loot - unlike m+, it drops the same ilvl loot as the raid.

Basically what you want is your infinitely spammable content to give you more loot, so you can gear up in a couple of weeks. You want it to reward you mythic ilvl gear from the great vault for failing the primary objective of M+ (timing the key), a participation trophy for turning up.

Terrible idea, at the moment m+ at the top end is skewed heavily towards the unbalanced OP classes, leaving the peasant classes in the dust. They would need to balance things better so that the difficulty is similar no matter which class you bring, rather than letting the privileged few classes reign supreme. Timing a +20 with a survival hunter and demo lock requires far more skill than with a boomkin and DH.

They’d also need to ensure m+ has a weekly lockout on loot to ensure you can’t use your spammable content to gear up in a week or 2.

Blizzard: so you’re saying we should nerf wq anima rewards. Understood!

Is this a troll right ? or do you realy think ++35 anima will make ppl stay until the end of an dg

I think you nailed it. This has to be Blizz trolling us.

Nothing else explains such a ridiculously small pretty much useless increase.

guys, I’m pretty sure this announcement is strategic. It’s so whatever they announce in Blizzcon sounds ten times better. Blizz gonna strike your ankle and make you creep so crawling feels like running. they aren’t that thick in the head.

EDIT: watch’ em improve loot slightly and everyone scream POG at Blizzcon and claim Blizzcon was successful

I know they will say something about the loot at blizzcon BUT 35 anima with or without the loot fix is a f*** joke

I totally agree, but its becoming a pattern if you go back and notice all Bizz’s announcements its usually one trashy one that looks like they are trolling followed by a second one that barely addresses the problem. Then people freak out and say how SL is fixed, because compared to the pervious announcement the latter seems miles better.

Just like how Ion answers hard questions in interviews (just saying)

Anima?

Fix the core issues of the game. Anima isn’t a core part of WoW.

:surfing_woman: :surfing_man:

So everyone can max out their sanctum in a month and unsub?

:joy:

Keep dreaming.

And yet
the reward for the daily heroic is still a piddly 35 anima, when I can do a world quest and get 105-140.

This will motivate me to run heroic CN and mythic dungeon.

Oh wait
it won’t. I have hit heroic dungeon for 2 days for a 158 DK (pvp mixed in too) and broker quests for some 197’s.

Loot rate sucks massively. And heroic loot I am told is not even nerfed as much. More work, less chance at loot
anima does not move me here.

Correction
They do not “have a stone for that”. Its a cosmetic toy that changes the visual of your normal hearthstone.

Its not an additional hearthstone like the legion/WoD stone. Just a cosmetic toy. Like everything else seems to be in this expansion.

Though to be fair, you can get to Oribos in about 30 seconds if you use the Legion Hearthstone, jump into the portal to SWC/Org and then jump in the Oribos portal. This is assuming you’re not a poor soul still using an HDD, lol.

Tone deaf developers I can’t wait to hear to the second quarter earnings report. I bet the fall off for WoW will be epic.

Actually, more anima won’t fix anything.

The problem is loot rewards. Not anima.

Increasing anima rewards just cheapens the long-term reward structure of the covenants. It doesn’t actually address anyone’s complaints.

This is like giving someone a decongestant because they broke their arm. It’s great that you admit that there are problems revolving around the patient’s health, doc, but I think you’re missing the point.

Dear Blizzard,

Players want GEAR to feel STRONGER, not artifact power or anima like you call it now.

Ty, for your amazing effort but nothing is fixed yet.

I just want to play WoW again dude, your post too long for me to go through so I’ll let someone else address your points if they feel they are worthwhile. I think you have some weird opinions but I don’t care enough about them to let you in on why.

At this point I log in, check my mission table for suicide runs, do a quick ampetheater boss/glitterfall basin treasure then look at all the zones for 3+ ‘rare anima tokens’ or a epic token, possibly any upgrades - log out accordingly.
