i was just talking about a hypothetical - i dont carry much in my bags at all.
the only time i get bigger bags is when events give them to me.
i’m still using the 34 slot bag from the shadowlands pre-patch and i have the 36 slot from diablo 4 event and the 36 slot from hearthstone anniversary.
i dont upgrade bags otherwise because i dont need them.
I hadn’t heard it called the “bag management mini game” but that is what it feels like. There are so many things to track. I don’t want it TOO simple - especially for those “special/hard-to-get” things, but dang if I just want to do some basic questing and I have to track stones and diamonds and combinations, etc.
As simple as possible.
One thing that has happened in the past (at least before Warbands) is I would quest in a patch I missed during a break from the game on my main because I wanted my main to get the most “stuff” (transmogs primarily, but also achievements, etc). This created A LOT of things I had to carry around.
Now, with Warbands, I’m hoping that changes as I can send one alt into the old expansions and keep the “worlds” separate while still sharing most of the achievements, transmogs, etc. I’m pretty excited for that.
I’m up to Cata. Think I’m going to have an alt sit there ready to go once I’ve gotten myself through TWW. Will see!
imho WOW needs to do away with bag size altogether.
Everything gear should just become like an Heirloom
junk should be auto converted to “resource x” or gold or whatever
everything else should just be a list in your journal
great so the hoarders will be stacking herbs that sell for 1c by the 10’s of thousands instead of just the thousands.
Sell you hoard, make that gold while you can.
I’m fine with bags getting bigger.
