I’m sure alot of other guilds are feeling the same pain but some of the drops such as DST,Magus blade from gruuls need to be added to the badge vendor. Across 2 characters that has done Gruuls every week since release I have never seen in 10 weeks of raiding a DST drop and a Magus blade once.

Yeah, I think it’s a bit silly they’re increasing tier token drops instead of the rarer high value items. Feels like we’re DEing half of our tier tokens, because everyone already has everything even for their alt’s offspecs.

Nah content will all be post nerf. No need to be 100% BIS and was never intended to be that way. You will have all Xpac to get DST if you want it that bad.

Getting every piece of loot handed to you on a silver platter is not fun. Might as well just start the new tier in full bis if that’s what you want.
I agree. I’m actually certain that I won’t even see a DST drop on my warrior at all even if i kill him every week until the WOTLK Pre Patch. This is stupid. 14% drop chance my butt. more like 1%
Sidenote: in the previous TBC Classic I killed gruul every week on my warrior for 45+ weeks and never saw DST drop a single time.
It is so rigged. What is so wrong with allowing more players to acquire this trinket? Will the game’s economy collapse? Will the world end? I don’t understand. I’m baffled. At least in regular classic we could spam BRD angerforge / arena runs all day until we get hand of justice. But DST seems nearly impossible to get, not because we can’t win the roll, but because IT DOES NOT DROP!
We’re not asking for loot to be handed to us on a silver pladder. I’m asking for DST drop rate to be increased from 14% to something slightly higher. (14% is a fake number btw) or there wouldn’t be as many guilds that are going to go 40+ kills without seeing it drop at all, not one single drop.

You should at least be able to see items drop after months of doing every lockout.
Stop gatekeeping. It’s an accelerated schedule. Too afraid to compete with other players who are similarly geared in parses? Afraid that rng on loot has carried your score so far? Or maybe you spent a silly amount of irl money to buy some pixels?

Game is designed to have friction. You cope hard if you believe they will make very contested items easily available.
Gatekeeping this, gatekeeping that. These games weren’t made for people who think not getting everything they want is is “gatekeeping” them.
The best items in the game shouldn’t drop like candy from a piñata, accelerated schedule or not. This is not true to the game. Perseverance and a bit of luck is part of the chase.
If they want to add them to a vendor for badges later, maybe that’s the right thing to do.
I don’t think it was ever intended that a trinket from the easiest 25m boss is bis for the whole expansion. I’m just treating DST like a joke at this point, cleared every week and havent even seen 1.
