Are you counting LFR?
API data historically shows about 40% of the playerbase regularly clears Heroic every tier, with total raid participation about 60%.
That also means that less than 20% is doing Normal or LFR and NOT clearing Heroic.
The proportion of the playerbase that does LFR only is very small.
so your sole purpose was to come into this thread to personally attack someone?
sure there is - those things affect professions and the ability to level up professions. Why should one type of content provide every reward in the game, even for content that isn’t related to it? Should people who just do professions and not that type of content just quit the game because they cannot reasonably level up professions at the same rate, even though they devote all their time to professions, as someone doing unrelated content?
Blizzard developed that profession system - saying people wouldn’t get enough of those limited materials to level up without relying on others - yet it appears you think a couple of groups should get priority treatment.
Bree’s already gave you the breakdown.
Raiding is one of the more popular modes.
You pretty much get full 415 for free now, running +2s. Giving out 418s isnt going to matter.
Maybe, but this time in patch 9.1 25k guilds had cleared castle nathria compared to the 7.5k that have cleared vault. Thats a pretty big decline. It went like that all way through shadowlands and saw a little bit of a bump in DF but im sure its going to continue to decline.
Meanwhile, there have been almost 23 million m+ runs this season so far.
You still need a 2400 rating to get to 415.
Across three characters I have done 200 keys and killed 90 raid bosses and I’ve yet to see a single bottled essence drop on any of them. I require a bottled essence because when I made my paladin, I knew I would be playing both holy and protection, so I made a holy weapon.
Turns out the alchemist stone is one of the best trinkets for prot paladin by quite a large margin, and, after 37 keys on the paladin specifically, I’ve yet to see any trinkets drop. It’s actively preventing me from crafting a new trinket or from finding a new one which makes it very difficult to do content I can do on other characters.
I would have expected after 200 keys (about 1/4 of these are 20+ and 1/2 are 15+) to see one bottled essence in the 6 weeks they’ve supposed to drop. I would realllly like to just… have some clarity on what I need to do to receive one.
At this point it would likely be a better move to create a new paladin and level it to 70 just for the sparks.
Bottled essence was the reward from the Spellforged Creation WQ today on one of my characters.
Same day, different character - another bottled essence dropped off of Shas’ith (the spider under the Obsidian Citadel).
I play every day for hours. I do various things. Some keys and world stuff. Since I got my bottle sniffer it hasn’t sniffed out a single bottle. I think they robot lady gave me a broken one.
