No the issue was if you didn’t log on your main first the game would not register your obtained rank 3 essences so your alt would not get any of the currency. As far as I know (and I could be wrong please correct me) there were not reported glitches referring to your main.
So they should just reset them altogether.

Again that makes no sense since the reason they are attaching echoes as the cost of corruption is because players have nothing to spend them on. Now with this vendor the players will be able to spend all their Echoes collecting dust.
So people that can’t get on their mains should be at a disadvantage because someone’s alt accumulated 44k? No, it’s not fair.

I do understand where you are coming from but you have to see that resetting them is also unfair. Even more unfair because there are so many players with tons of Echoes and nothing to spend them on. New players just came back and are grinding. So we should reset every alt and new player for the mains? No that makes no sense.
I can see awarding people that are bugged Echoes but resetting the entire community for bugged mains isn’t the solution. It makes no sense. Not to mention people that play many Alts. They would have to grind Echoes on EVERY alt instead of spending the ones they rightfully earned on something nice.
So your solution isn’t viable or logical. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Imagine having like 10 characters reset to zero… Yikes. So they can just fix the few mains that are bugged.
If Blizzard resets Echoes a lot of people will uninstall.

You have one use for them right now, after tomorrow there’s a new use. You have a ton for a reason, because there’s no use for them to you. There’s noway to know how much people’s mains should have from when the system was implemented months ago. I have 15k on this guy right now, but there’s way more than “a few” mains out there that are having this issue.
There’s zero use for them at this moment besides essences. If you have over 500, you do not need an essence, otherwise you would’ve spent it. Having 10k or something high isn’t right to those that can’t even earn them.

I seriously don’t get how you guys manage to main this game. Activision ruined Blizz. It won’t ever get better unless they allow Devs to design like they used too.

Of course not. If I’ve been playing the game for as long as or even more than someone’s alt and I haven’t earned a single one because of Blizzard’s flawed design on the corruption system, I shouldn’t be penalized for not having enough to spend on something as impactful as let’s say Gushing Wound when there are other people with around 50k.
Blizzard needs to reset Echos just like they did to Residuum. Resetting them puts everyone on the same ground, so if anything it’s the most fair way to go about this.

Pretty good I enjoy other games that have taken the place of Home. WoW just isn’t Home anymore. You want it to be and you try it expansion after expansion but just is too hard to play for longer than 3 weeks at a time usually.
My plan for success for enjoying WoW is you play for 3 weeks at launch, if it isn’t fun uninstall and wait 6-8 months. Then you try it again for 3 weeks and repeat. Pretty much been doing this since 2016.
I’m guessing they’ll either make GW very expensive, or they’ll nerf its potency after this or else everyone will just be running around with 7-8 stacks of it with no variation.
I have 0 echoes too, not that I expect anyone here to care. Just think it is stupid why this isn’t a new currency.
It looks like the corruption the vendor holds is still RNG though? It cycles biweekly on corruption type and level. So you might see the corruption you want tmrw, then not again for a few weeks.
If someone accidentally buys the wrong corruption, will they remove the vendors?
