I personally think Shadowlands lore makes zero sense from an IC perspective unless you are the one and only hero of Azeroth, but whatevs. That’s just me.
We can definitely eliminate some Covenants from the list.
For Ardenweald, your character doesn’t exactly strike me as a “Aw man why did you kill all of the baby animals” kind of guy, it wouldn’t exactly make sense for him to go to Ardenweald. I can’t think of a reason for him to go.
Bastion is also not a zone I could picture him in, unless he’s some weird pervert who likes hot blue women. It’s a land for the pure and noble, and fel is probably VERY misunderstood there. But I could see him going there more than Ardenweald.
Revendreth ultimately makes more sense than any of the others, and if I have to be honest, more than Maldraxxus, unless your character is very violent and/or has a tie to necromancy. The Venthyr probably welcome his magic more than others, they themselves using magic that is typically viewed as evil, in a way. Also, I can certainly see a gnome being friends with a Dredger. Sorry, I had to say that last thing.
