A sentence Eon made in the Q&A has been going around in my head for the last couple weeks.

To put that into a though for myself and possibly others this means that the lead is quite happy to make content they know is going to piss off the entire player base, not a part of it, not a smaller section, but the entire player base, and call that a compromise, now before you jump in and say but flying blah blah blah, I am not in this instance referencing that, I am saying that in general they are happy to make that position, I have been in business along time , and you do not stay in business by deliberately pissing off your entire customer base…
That should offend more people than it does and everyone on whichever side they are should agree that’s just bad business.

if everyone is a little annoyed, then nobody is pissed off, and in a game like this its almost impossible to not piss off at least some people, so if nobody is pissed off at something, and everyone is a little bit annoyed, then yes, they probably are doing something right
however, everyone is not ‘a little annoyed’ at pathfinding … a lot of people are quite pissed off … so Ion is clueless

Dang, I quit before flying was on the exit quiz. But yes, I quit in early 2015 precisely because flying had been taken away, and came back only because of Classic…which ain’t as great as promised, and I miss Dungeon Finder so much.
BTW, for every person who publicly announces or complains about anything, the general rule is ten more people feel the same way, but aren’t brave enough to publicly announce it. So yes, many quit over flying, because it is that big a deal. If YOU don’t like flying, don’t fly. Simple as that. You have no right to take it away from others.

No. Hasitcostus dix NOT say “no flying” and while I entirely disagree with the flawed logic of wanting people to “play content” yet making PF account bound, I think with a few minor tweaks, Pathfinder could be a viable alternative in future iterations to my preferred method of buying flight on a character by character basis.
I literally just quit until flying is obtainable then I play. Expansion is cheaper, 8.0 bfa sucked anyway and more content built up.
