Yet to fly in Zandalar, I have to gain the trust of marine goblins they have never met?
My alts will have only the reputations they need to get their profession recipes. That’s my real sticking point, that I am forced to get reputations I have NO USE FOR on a single character if I want to fly. That’s the price. I can’t get the reputations for three of them on the enchanter, another one on the tailor, two for the blacksmith… All must be on the same character whether they’re useful or not.
I’m also doing all the steps with someone else in a different state, whenever our schedules align. I’ve been cheating though, which is why I have Pathfinder 1 and he doesn’t quite yet.
Yup. I’m playing BFA because we have flying. I have a backlog of games that could keep me occupied for 5 years. I’ll gladly not play during the most not fun part of the expansion.
Are there any other games out there in the same genre/class/category that let you play even more how you would like to, than WoW? The devs made you a game. Play it because you like it, despite the flying “tedium”…or don’t play it because you dislike it.
Pathfinder is part of the game. In fact, It was their answer to the complaints about Flying being behind a Paywall. (I mentioned the prostitution irl to pay for in game mounts, I wasn’t kidding)
Pathfinder was their way of making players who want to soar above all their hard work, they at least had to check it out from the ground and at least see it, first. Two years of hard work between expacks, I really don’t think thats too much to ask.
If you do…you know what comes next. (points to proverbial door)
Am I the only person who remembers the hype around WoD? People who hadn’t played since Wrath were COMING BACK knowing the game would have ABSOLUTELY NO FLYING. There was a huge hype train around No Flying, Fox Only, Final Destination. Box sales were impressive.
And there was reason to think it’d be fun without flying mounts. You couldn’t fly in Isle of Thunder. You couldn’t fly in Timeless Isle. Maybe their design philosophy had changed since launch, when they made zones intended to be skipped over with your flying mounts, like Jade Forest.
Nope. Every launch zone since 6.0 has been more Jade Forest crap. If they were making Dark Souls, a game where being able to run through the air and skip encounters and obstacles would absolutely ruin the flow of the game, there would be no “compromise”. They’d just say no.
There’s no reason to defend Pathfinder as anything but a speed bump.
They didn’t announce no flight until well into the expansion, so no no one remembers people coming back because of no flight. All they said is there wouldn’t be flight in the beginning, it later changed to never and people quit… and then came Pathfinder.
at least your mog looks a little like a white knight, you are such a shill you don’t even know what you are saying. you contradict yourself in your response. if i don’t like it, then it’s not a compromise now is it? you people just trip me out. if you don’t like flying, grab your ground mount, and stay out of my business.
You do not get a say in the matter, not being at the table…so either way you wouldn’t accept it regardless. You feel your $15 should get you to dictate what happens? Entitlement for sure
A boss tells their employees a compromise, and they take it or they quit…its still a compromise because while you continue to work there you have what is called a tacit agreement to it…
and you’re not? you are here arguing your side of the issue. too bad you don’t have an issue that you are passionate about, and i could ride my high horse in like you are doing. yes i have no say in flying except to not give blizzard my money. i have no clue why they have to push on with such a divisive course of action.
You the childish one here…thinking you get a say what a company does in a discussion…You agree to it by paying them. They said they would compromise instead of taking flying out entirely by doing the pathfinder, so thus…staying there you agree to it…its that or leave…by all means go ahead too.
