Bro Wrath of the Lich King was the actual best.
Shadowlands was horrible but at least I could trust the tooltip of my abilities, now half of them as a paladin are bugged.
Shame on whoever “worked” on this class.

What frustrates me is I know there was a great expansion in there somewhere. I loved the concepts and the art direction. It just got abandonded by Korthia and it was very obvious.

First of all, good god everyone on here is getting trolled. OP has already contridicted himself, and you people are way too busy trying to white knight for Garmuk’s alt “opinion” to read this is bait.
We all know there is plenty of story, (good is relative), to do. Plenty of world content to do with significantly better rewards than we have ever seen, and no shot someone is consistently logging in to WOW to NOT raid, pvp, m+ and they went and leveled 2 characters to 70. Those people go play FF14 or quit, and honestly I would argue FF14 is better for all except pvp.
Chill out people, Garmuk is just trolling you with minimal effort

Well, I said it would take at least a patch before someone brought this up, but I guess I didn’t factor in winter vacation.
While the zones were really awesome, the story had much potential, but felt toned down. We were given patches with biscuit by biscuit letting us wonder “so what’s next?” this is the whole summary of Shadowlands: “OK? Then what?” until they had to cancel the expansion and that “then what?” never got answered.
Patches were late and the expansion felt like undeveloped to its full potential. Nipples or no nipples, Zo’vaal was supposed to be a more complex character given that he was the mastermind of all the game’s story so far.
They did fix a lot of the grind systems but now in Dragonflight we still have more grind because when Blizzard detects fun, they nerf it. The reputation gains were much larger pre-season 1 and now they’ve been nerfed so the grinds are back on the menu, boys!
No its not. Stop mentioning that toxic game here.

Early Cata was pretty good. The updated questing style was a major improvement. The dungeons were challenging but doable. Cata’s fail came later when the only content was bad raids and a tiny mob-grinding zone that was basically a precursor to Korthia.
every expansion was the best expansion ever when someone is trolling the current expansion talking about the trash that it is.
dragonflight like every other xpac got a flaw here or there but so far it is 100 times better than shadowlands.

The raids were awesome! And I enjoyed the Molten Front. It was just a typical end game zone. Not sure how it’s a precursor to Korthia.
Also: Korthia’s gearing system was better. Rank 5 was nonsensical, but being able to choose which piece of gear with which stats I want to keep and then spend the time to upgrade it was much mkre rewarding, imo.
I have no character named Garmuk. I voiced my opinion, and I stand by it. If you do not agree, that’s fine.

As if Danny wasn’t the only redeeming aspect of shadowlands. Your opinion is completely void.
You enjoyed farming the maw where you couldn’t mount and all the mobs were overtuned compared to having a 1,300% flying mount and much more manageable quests? Zones that took ten minutes to travel between because of the dumb airport hub. Or said airport hub that didn’t even have an auction house? Okay buddy, go troll elsewhere and please keep your opinions to yourself.

In any case, glad to see this. Was SL my favorite? Absolutely not.
But gets more hate than it deserved. It was a great xpac for mounts and cosmetics for example… even the villified 9.1 patch… SOD was an excellent raid.
Torghast would have been good if it was tied to gear instead of some currency. The gameplay was actually fun. Jailer’s Gauntlet? Amazin’
