It’s never failed me, but I haven’t tried it in anniversary. It has worked in every other version. I’m am not 100% sure.
Mostly I was queued with a friend because we both wanted to BG, and we noticed we never got an in progress game, even if one of us missed a queue.
Yeah, que as a group and you basically never get put into an in progress since generally people leave the bg 1 at a time so a group of 2 will never be needed to fill
