Large queue times are a lot better than 3 minutes, imo.
Wow, thats crazy, when I queue up for a bg its because I want to bg, I can easily go and do whatever I want whenever I want and that includes bgs on my alliance, odd that you all want desperately to turn waiting in line into a boon.
thank who? the horde?
I feel like most people who say they enjoy the 1hr+ queue times are totally faking it and trying to make it sound not as bad as it actually is.
For serious grinding, for ranking up…having long queue times are without a doubt much…much more healthy.
It sucks for the casual player, but being able to take a shower and make a proper meal while waiting sounds way more appealing the the instant-queue alternative.
Actually I lied in my last posting, I kinda know whats going on, theres an interesting metric where as time and cost increase people defend their purchases so they dont have to feel stupid. In my old job we had “house brand” products that were around $400 and the name brand that was around $1200 depending on options. Literally the exact same product with a different logo. The people that would get the cheaper product complained about every scratch, the people that bought the $1200 product would defend it to the death even to other customers that rightly said you could get the same exact thing for $400.
No one wants to feel dumb, but most people are.
ahah this yes this is what I mean. You hit it spot on.
I prefer longer queues at the moment because I am still ranking. Once I am done however, shorter can definitely be good. I have been levelling an alliance rogue between games over the 5-6 weeks and it’s currently 56. My idea is that I can do a bg on alliance in between horde bgs. Hence why I still don’t think it’s a big issue for me. But not everyone has a 60 on both factions they can easily swap to though. I do agree though in that generally when I log on, I would prefer to just jump in and do a game instead of having to wait for ages.
thats odd because the horde on my server that are ranking are sitting around in BRM all day and not doing any of the gold farming, is your server so dead that you don’t have to sit in BRM or camp whatever in order to rank past 10?
I should be rank 9 tomorrow. I’ll be able to hit rank 10 but yeah I believe after rank 10 I would need to actually go out of my way to gain more honor than just inside bgs. I’m on the biggest OCE server so I would imagine it’s comparable to the larger US servers.
I have no interest in world pvp so whatever rank I get to just doing bgs is where I get to lol.
Good plan, good luck to you on your ranks!
That’s not the reason I play horde. Lmfao in fact I rarely pvp and have a level 45 alliance warlock, but keep finding excuses of why you suck.
ItZ tHe RaCiAlZ herp derp
I stopped queuing for AV. Only queuing WSG now (as a pug). Queue times are a serious problem and I think moving cave will help.
BG weekends will help too.
