I think the philosophical state of our toons is very interesting: they are digital constructs, but they are animated by a real external “soul” (the player).
Probably more or less what the Garden of Eden was supposed to be like. Maybe not so much battling stuff but the whole “whatever you do you’re basically immortal” thing. Then they ate the wrong tree and poof, RL happened.
Hmm, immortality and god ,i don’t believe i am godlike and immortal but i surely do believe in a divine consciousness. Or am i just talking to myself to believe it?
ngl I’d do that for 150 gold pieces in real life.

Remember we Rogues are masters of poison.
During the DH starter area, one of the quests has you sacrifice yourself, or someone else. If you choose yourself, you get to do the usual ghost run back to your body. However, Illidan pops up randomly, and muses how you have an immortal demon soul just like he does.
Always thought that was a great bit of lore insertion. Made me lol the first time I did it.

I was talking about our in game characters and not IRL of course.
Still applies,I don’t believe my character is godlike or immortal there is and will be an end.

I prefer much the first clip, for two reasons.
First, I like good heavy metal much more than lame pop-rock.
Second, nobody ever sees us Rogues so bloody. We always stealth away right after doing our business.

Yet we couldn’t kill Sargeras. And the Titan Azeroth has yet to do anything at all.

Each Player Character should quite literally be the center of his/her own religion at this point and nobody even remembers who “a mawwalker” is.

We’re really good at getting the most powerful beings to 2% health…and then an important character swoops in for the kill.

We really didn’t Kamehameha N’Zoth and LoTR his eye castle. He beat us and gave us the wish. com version of LoTR ending. We gonna wake up soon and the tentacle monster is coming, hide your school uniforms.
