No one wants to stop and drink after every three mob pack my guy
What? I don’t get the connection. Was responding to the OPs question about why people don’t type. I’m a slow typer. By the time I type “hi” the tank is usually pulling. What does that have to do with drinking after 3 pulls? Your not making sense to me.
it has 8man raids. even smaller than WoW’s 10man.
come on. it might have a pretty storyline but no large-scale endgame.
It’s still am extremely popular MMORPG that has taken many of WoW’s top content creators.
You may not like it, but it’s definitely a competitor.
How long does it take to press enter h i enter? There’s plenty of time to talk during things like normal/heroic dungeons, low level mythics, LFR, normal raids, etc
As I said (and I really mean it)
Really slow. Like if I peck at the keys like a 90 year old man.
What does that have to do with drinking every 3 pulls. Seriously? What are you even talking about?
Most people who are anti “go go go” are usually against the pace that most people play at and want to return to the low and slow pace that classic had.
Learn to type faster?
I love go go go. Just doesn’t leave me time to communicate in a 10 year old text box.
I’m disabled. Is that a problem for you?
Not at all. I was not aware of that fact before my post. Obviously that’s an extraneous circumstance.
i didnt realize twitch clicks is what the competition is about.
Orcs smell bad and everyone avoids you…
Maybe in 10.0 if blizz learned anything from SL
Excuuuuuse me! I use soap, thank you!
Maybe next time you should stop and consider these things before you’re trying to be toxic towards someone.
I have conversations in General Chat literally every day. Some have lasted like 2 hours before I left the zone.
Gnome fat doesn’t count
CRZ was the beginning of the end for the community feel of this game.
It quite literally destroyed server identity and communities.
Never should have been enabled. It’s a plague and the #1 thing I hate about WoW.
I mostly hangout and do my talking in discords

There’s no reason to communicate. WoW put itself in a strange place where you’re either playing solo or you’re organizing a group. No real gray area to explore.
When I dabbled with classic, I chatted with people all the time. Mostly because I knew I’d see them in the world again. Shame it’s such an empty experience for anyone who already played those games. I have no interest in reliving content.
But in retail, it’s pretty much guaranteed that whoever you group with randomly, you’ll never see them again. Some rando from some random server for this world quest? The best I’m typing as I blow my way through it is “ty for the group.” 10 minutes later I won’t remember a single player’s name from that group.
And this is how modern WoW is designed. CRZ and phasing tech has led to this conclusion. It’s a single player game with group potential, trying to pretend to be a hardcore player’s game.
Unless you’re in a guild, there’s no such thing as a community. It’s just random names floating in a breeze, likely never to be seen again.
One thing I like about other games is their handling of servers. I know people I interact with, especially while leveling in the world, because I see them again. Their name eventually means something.
I think that started dying in WoW around Cata. Unless you roll on a RP server, then you’re only seeing a handful of servers.
Same. I used to always play with general off, but I started to leave it on thanks to places like Korthia and Mechagon where rare callouts were helpful. Lots of fun chatting with everyone about the game and whatever else pops up.
I would honestly be surprised if I saw someone post in zone chat.
