In Development: Seeds of Renewal

It cant come soon enough because this patch let me tell you if you dont do mythic plus theres nothing to it other than the first couple of hours at reset day where you do your seeds and superbloom at thats it

Oh heck they would first have to acknowledge that us hunter exist .

That’s on the current dragon riding mounts

Disappointed that Incubus is yet again being looked over in favor of… demons we barely even see for most of our time playing?

Really?

We know he has at least one new skin in the files - we’ve seen it at the Warlock Quest DMF area. Why are we not getting it? Why is he not getting any of the same appearance types as succubus? C’mon, Blizz.

Excited for most of the patch, at least, but between the low amount of customizations datamined for trolls and draenei, and now the lack of Incubus skins for a second pass of Warlock pet customizations… my initial hype got well and truly thwacked in the face, tbh.

NPC dungeons for “learning”… Do the NPCs pull for the tank? Does the healer neglect heals in order to do mediocre DPS? Does the tank pull one pack at a time? Do the NPCs berate you every 2 minutes?

While I’m certainly happy to not have to deal with toxic players, I don’t feel that they will really being training people what the real dungeon experience is.

That being said, can we have NPC dungeons with difficulty up to and including M+? Then we wouldn’t have to deal with leavers and the cesspool of low/mid ranged keys.

I’m usually pretty negative, but this sounds good

I’d honestly just be happy with Incubus models that match up with Succubus options. They took my fel lady from me and she is not an option now without regrinding… so having her in the Barber Shop and with the masculine equivalent is a huge deal to me. Maybe some day…

I agree though, for people who preferred Darkglare/Observer congrats! It’s back from what I found.

What are you talking about? It’s a video game, and an MMO none the less. The whole thing is designed to waste you’re time! This is the best kind of content; lore, quality of life improvements, and a fun new puzzle game to explore. They don’t need to advertise more, more time gives people a chance to wander away and forget about launch dates. This is a fan victory lap and time for them to add quality of life fixes and upgrades for the next expansion launch.

A minor fraction of players have even touched the raids and the Fated season will give them a chance to get in on what they missed at a much higher level of difficulty. Idk what you consider ‘real content’ but I think your definition is very demanding of both the content creators AND the players. I would rather have a good lore drop to explain some of the questions we’ve all had for the last 20 ish years than a half-a$$ed raid to satisfy a season, for the sake of

Heavens forbid they make you THINK with a new set of puzzles and lore! How dare they make the raids a challenge again! Making your old content fun and playable again! What were they THINKING making the old world more accessible and fun for new players and old alike! They should only spend time on what the smallest group of people race through in a month before cancelling their subscription and only returning for the next prelaunch!

Are you seriously complaining? Maybe you forgot that the alternative was literally a Panda style year long vow of silence. Future patches will be faster, this time around they are filling the time with lore, bug fixes, quality of life updates, and eventually a Fated season. For most people, this is what they always wanted developers to fill the void with.

Oh another thing, please finally fix the seem on female pandas necks please. So many races are getting new things but pandas have had a broken texture on our model for so long :face_holding_back_tears:

You get back here and group with me right this instant. Make peace, this is happening

Total sidebar, but your guild name is awesome.

You never know. I was pleasantly surprised to see the observer back so soon, even as just a CD. That gives me some confidence that these customizations won’t be a one and done.

I’ve seen some people who are unhappy about the observer being a CD though. I get that, especially in regards to RP. In a perfect world we’d have it back as a follower pet. Being able to control where the demon goes with the Move To(Pet Command) ability is a powerful tool in the role player’s utility belt.

Sure, there’s the battle pet with the observer model, but its movement is jerky and you can’t control a battle pet’s placement like you can with a follower pet… or at least as far as I know.

Still, I’d rather have some observer than none at all. It makes sense for it to be a dark glare skin considering Blizzard’s reasoning for removing it from the fel hunter. Plus they got it back to us relatively quickly, so in my mind that’s a win.

We noticed you forgot the addition of Worgen tails. We will wait for you to fix this oversite.

I’m kind of wondering how much is being remade in Midnight, could we be getting everything north of that river/divide south of Arathi? That section of the continent would likely be on par with the landmass sizes we’ve been getting with expansions.

We know Quel’thalas is being remade, but what else? There’ll be at least four large zones. Maybe Lordaeron and Gilneas could all be part of that. Then we get the remake of Northrend, and maybe after that who knows…the rest of the eastern kingdoms, then an expanion that does portions of Kalimdor…although at some point, it’s likely we’ll see Avaloren as well.

I full expect an Azjol-Nerub zone when they remake Northrend.

Sounds like 11.0 will be the old mounts.

Agreed. When I finished it I was very surprised it wasn’t just the the first chain of a multichain story arc. It was very disappointing to find out it was the whole thing.

I’m all for that…I just hope there’s an option for them to wield the void in the manner of a paladin. I’d really like to see Elune based paladins for Night elves and whoever else wants to be one…worgen would be a cool option.

I’m also hoping the holy fire based Arathi paladins, maybe that will give us a visual option to use as well. I’d love my dark iron paladin to have fiery spells instead of the generic light ones we have.

Oh WoW! This is awesome news for World of Warcraft! :+1:

A.I. companions and worldwide Dragon flying in all of Azeroth! Sweet! Keep at it WoW Team! You rock!

PS - Suggestions to the WoW Team! Although I been saying this since 2012, I believe creating either a new addon to any existing profession to create color dyes that players can use to further customize the COLORS of their Armor / Transmog to make each player’s character much more unique in the game, this color customization addon in WoW would be super awesome to have for all players!

Transmog is awesome, but by adding custom Color dye options for players to change the color of their Armor / Transmog would be super epic and very fun to have in the game, big time, and it would give every player the chance to truly stand out in the game.

If it is too much to add Dye color items for players via any crafting profession, then just make an NPC with a fitting room that allows players to enter the fitting room to change all or some of their Armor / Transmog colors to better match each armor set. Allowing players to truly customize the colors on all Armor / Transmog gear would be a huge game changer for WoW, and it would be a lot of fun for all players too. This epic feature addon in WoW would definitely attract a lot of new and old players to WoW as well! You can do it, Blizzard Team!

Bring on Custom Color Dyes or the Option to Change the Colors of all in-game Armor and Transmog gear, Blizzard Team! That would be so awesome and fun! Hopefully, it will happen in WoW soon!

Happy weekend and upcoming Thanksgiving all! - Cheers! - JJ -

Excited for Warlock’s lets hope they get some sick demon pet customization’s.

Why can’t gnomes reclaim Gnomeregan? It seems like after 19 years and one of the primary races, we should be able to get our own city before this.

Yes don’t forget Gnomes. It’s time for them to reclaim Gnomeregan in a future patch.

No, I think with Dragonriding opening up to all zones, you’ll realize you are thinking far to small here, especially with all the datamined models they have for inns and other buildings. Consider this:

All the textures and models they have made in dragonflight can be resized and shaded/re-textured, and this includes Ohn’Ahran Plains trees that flex way out to the side like barrens trees and Emerald Dream trees that look like massive Elwynn Forest trees, new mountain shapes, rock, snow, ice, grass, and path textures. All Titan structures are almost identical types of buildings and Tyrhold has most of them with better geometry and textures. There is so much reusable content on Dragon Isles.

All of this stuff is a sampler they threw together to give us a fun new STARTING ZONE (which they already announce Dragonflight is the new prefered starting zone they will be pushing). They basically drew from assets they knew they needed so they could pull from an existing library and redo ALL the pre-Draenor content.

Obviously, they will focus on the oldest and most nostalgic first, but I can almost guarantee that’s why they made Classic servers to begin with! They wanted a record of the old for comparison and archiving it for players who want to return.

It makes sense when you think about it too, Cata world revamp has existed longer than vanilla at this point and everyone avoids those zones because they look like trash by comparison and the quests are out of date. I think they will release a full revamp of Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms for their 20th anniversary as a big celebration and so people can explore it for the prelaunch.

Many good changes here!

Since no class reworks were announced yet, I suggest to look at classes / specs that got little to no adjustments over whole expansion - Elemental Shamans, Windwalker Monks and so on.

Here is also a list of suggestions for Shaman talent trees including Elemental:

I mean we know they are remaking Quel’thalas. But we also know There will be at least 3 additional zones and probably 2 more during the expansion.

They’re not going to do full remakes of Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor all at once. They’ll be done in portions as they get to them via the expansions. So Quel’thalas and some of the surrounding area will be remade for Midnight, and then Northrend for The Last Titan.

If they were doing a full remake of everything, they would have announced it at Blizzcon.
