I’m glad that other races get to play one of my favorite classes in the game. Honestly. But playable monks are depicted as being practitioners of an ancient mystical form of martial arts inextricably linked to pandaren history. So if they can learn to be monks, can pandaren finally learn to be warlocks? Paladins?
if the reason we were given in Mists for no Worgen or Gobby monks (“they don’t have the right temperament”) no longer holds true then surely at this point I can choose to play a pandaren with the “right temperament” to be a warlock.
Dalaran - Neutral city populated by lesser races.
Gilneas - Destroyed
Alterac - Destroyed
Lordaeron - Destroyed
Stromgarde - Destroyed
Stormwind - Intact
Kul’Tiras - Intact, but separate race with their own armor
Stormwind is the last one standing basically. but it’s nice I can finally make a battlemage with plate.
Am I wrong, or it looks EXACTLY like the Human from the WC3 intro cinematic?
I mean… that was pretty much was I was expecting. It’s as canon as you can get. How can you say it’s “generic and boring”, but for the fact that DEFINES everything about the Alliance: generic and boring.
The Orc one is good… except the helm looks derpy. Hopefully the quest to get it is cool.
But heritage doesn’t just mean whatever kingdom still stands. Heritage should encompass all the kingdoms, perhaps not the ones that have their own (Gilneas, KT) at this point.
This just seems like they’re choosing to ignore all the other human kingdoms that came before the current iteration of SW. and that seems like a disservice.
Grunt and soldier 2.0 you could’ve make an armor like anduin or paladin Arthas, same with orc with an armor like thrall’s .after all, an armor resembling their most iconic classes was the ideal thing
That’s fine, but a 2nd generation American can still value the heritage of their grandparents or great grandparents and that doesn’t take away from the fact that they were born in the US.
