Casual player with 364 iLvl can’t even join groups as DPS to raid normal Vault of Incarnates. Blizz needs to understand that casuals should have a right to play too, so either release LFR or simply eliminate raiding from the game because things are toxic as they are already.

Yes, I imagine it is pretty difficult to find a spot in a pug when you’re 20 ilvl below what the content drops. Maybe you could “casually” run some other content and gear up first…just like everyone else.

LFR is coming, it’s as usual the same with every expansion, just a week later than normal. You call yourself a casual, so casually wait for your content and get more than 364 iLVL from overworld stuff and M0 in the meantime. I was 384 iLVL before the season even started.
We’ve said it 100 times before and will say it 100 times again, if you at 364 iLVL wants to join a raid and 50 other people with a higher iLVL are also trying to join the same raid, who do you think the raid leader is going to take?

I’d recommend running some M0s or just farming some world content! 360~ is a bit low for Vault so I can’t entirely blame them.
Alternatively, join a guild and run it with them! Can’t guarantee it’ll go well but you’ll be able to go!

It’s going to be difficult to pug and there is an added pressure to have the “best of the best” of precursory gear when you are trying to fill a spot that many other people, many other better geared people, are applying for.
I would consider joining a guild or a Discord that advertises themselves as casual friendly if you are trying to achieve a particular goal.
Don’t take the whole applying for pug groups and getting denied too personally. It’s really not.

Which is the minimun ilvl to join normals and heroic? While 364 ilvl seems too low, wanting people to have the same ivl or higher than the raid seems unreasonable.
How do you get that iLvl? For real now, where do you get stuff that drops such iLvl without farming raids and M+15?
I am part of a guild, but can’t do scheduled raiding because of RL obligations which take precedence over any game whatsoever.

It’s 342 for heroics IIRC but that is much lower than the normal raid ilvl. Mythic 0/M+ exist for a reason. Even LFR I believe is going to require 359 to join.
Once you bump up past a certain point the world quests start dropping 380-somethings. I’m bad with numbers, someone else will come along and specify for us lol.
I was able to get into Vault at 370~ Ilvl? That seems like a reasonable statline. With world drops it’s easy enough to get to that point!
All of my experience in raiding thus far has been purely pugging. Sadly my guild (Which is an RP guild regardless…) was otherwise engaged for the most part!
But, yes, sadly outside of making your own group, no one is obligated to recruit you for their group.

Well there’s your issue.
Blizz isn’t stopping you. If you don’t spend the time to get your ilevel up, you don’t raid. That’s on you.

I mean the minimun ilvl that groups are requiring to join normal and heroic raids. I’m having a hard time finding raid groups on my 370 main and m+ drop rate is so low. Farming craftables appear to be an easier way to get gear.

Oh yeah I don’t know that’s gonna vary based on groups, obviously. I have not tried to PuG the raid, I’ve been going with my guild. Sorry. I know in-guild we were requiring a 360 minimum.
Form your own group. Better yet, don’t pug an entire group and find a guild to raid with.

Casual normal guilds exist. You just need to find them.

Just because you want to do the content doesn’t mean you just get to walk into it completely unprepared.
Take the required steps to get geared
What class/role do you play? I’d def recommend making or joining a “M0 World Tour” group so you can knock out all the zeroes in one go, since you can only do one run of each per week for loot. If you’re able to get picky and armor stack, that’s better. (i.e., If you wear leather, pick a bunch of leather wearers; better chance you guys can share loot.)
That should give you enough of a boost for WQs to start dropping upgrades or at least side-grades. You can also grind a heckin huge load of rep to buy gear off the vendors if you want to go that more casual but grindy approach instead. And make sure you’re doing the quest to get the sparks of ingenuity, you can put in a crafting order (or make for yourself, if you have a profession leveled up) one piece of 380+ gear for an ilvl boost as well. Two if you want to go in for that epic neck everyone loves right now.
I’d also, like someone mentioned above, consider looking for a casual raiding guild on your server. If you’re on WrA like this posting alt, you should be able to find some pretty chill people. They probably won’t have as high an ilvl requirement as random PuG groups do.
