What he was asking for isn’t exactly in vanilla. He was asking for the retail version without auto porting. The retail version fills roles while the vanilla one didn’t. Also, the retail version lets you pick group members and the vanilla one didn’t. The retail version lets you make groups from anywhere for any dungeon and the vanilla version didn’t. I am not sure if you really want this thread to die or not. . squints like fry

…yes? I mean of course, I just don’t understand what the point of contention is since such a thing existed in vanilla.

The vanilla system required queuing at a specific dungeon’s meeting stone for that dungeon or at an innkeeper to select a specific dungeon from a list.

I do not remember seeing anyone opposed to the vanilla system being part of classic.

If, on the other hand, the OP is asking to be able to “queue” from anywhere, that sort of system NEVER existed in vanilla and has no place in classic, IMO.

You’re arguing semantics. The OP asked for something that throws a group together with no teleporting or instant travel. Vanilla LFG did exactly that.
