My fave is when I farm all day to get 1 stack of arrows.
SOD has provided plenty of QOL changes to make things simpler/easier for things that were formerly a pain in the butt to do on the regular. Adjusting this would be childs play.

That’s the thing. We are parsing with them. And at high end gameplay we are needing to compete with others who are also using them. So many of us are farming them weekly, for hours upon hours, to compete with one another. We’re not asking for a lot. It’s a seasonal server and we want to use bis. No other class has to invest this much time into bringing bis into raid. We just want them to be purchasable.
Encouraging solo gameplay with this type of farm is the opposite of what an mmo should be.
They should just buff the AV bullets to be 20
Dps too. Seems mental to force players to farm a boss for hours on end to gain an marginal advantage.

Big yikes. Yeah just make them purchasable from the real vendors or ZG reputation or something as an alternative. Easy fix IMO.
If they are willing to do QoL changes for ferals with their pummeler and head piece I don’t think it’s too much to ask to level the playing field with hunter ammo. And the pummeler grind is MUCH easier than the LBRS grind.

If you are talking about just the high end 99th percentile, then yes it does make a difference, but for the rest of the 99% it isn’t the make or break.
Though, for the record, I do think that they should make these available elsewhere or add an equivalent. Since they’ve added the catnip, the cleansing cloths, alliance rend, etc. it would make sense to add this qol feature as well even if it isn’t as core as some of the other improvements. More stable slots would make sense too
Careful though, adding something that makes hunters do more damage might make them want to remove some damage elsewhere… they do like to do that

Druids and hunters both farmed their relative items in classic. Why can’t they both have an alternative in SoD?
Because hunters did not HAVE to farm doomshot, druids particularly bear and cat druids were REQUIRED to farm pummeler
I see what you’re saying, Doomshot is far less required for hunters. But on the same note it’s our BiS ammo and it’s a pretty time consuming farm, I don’t see anything wrong with making it more accessible. I don’t want them to just give it to us, but maybe a more fun or at least consistent way to acquire it. Placing it behind a 10m farm with 10-20% drop rates feels like Lunacy as Jeddite put it.
It’s literally less than 1% difference from the normal ammo.
Stop letting parse culture dictate how you play, and stop asking blizz to bend over backwards and change the game for parse culture.
I understand that some have a negative connotation around parse culture, I think that’s a whole other argument. But as I said previously, myself and a large group enjoy the competition that comes with it. We are certainly not going to let you dictate how we enjoy playing the game.
As far as blizzard bending over backwards, I don’t think changing a drop rate, or adding an item to a vendor, or whatever they think is best involves a lot of work. I’m open to being wrong about this if someone with knowledge in game development wants to correct me.

I think just posting them on a vendor in SW would be among my last choices. Reals would help out the server encouraging more people to do dungeons despite not needing gear/rep etc. Maybe handing in AV badges for an improved version of Ice arrows. Someone suggested Bijous from ZG. Or simply increasing the drop rate to make the farm more reasonable. There’s lots of good suggestions on this thread.
I would run LBRS alot with groups for more arrows but they dont drop.
All I see in here is people who enjoy optimizing their character and grey parsers telling you why you’re wrong. Sad.
